Objective: Under the guidance of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,this study evaluated the clinical efficacy and advantages of Qi Ju Di Huang Fang in the treatment of primary hypertension of liver-kidney yin deficiency syndrome in reducing clinic blood pressure,improving TCM syndromes,and improving the quality of life in an objective and standardized manner.Thus providing a clinical basis for Chinese medicine to improve the quality of life of patients with hypertension.Methods: 60 patients with primary hypertension who met the inclusion criteria were stratified according to the blood pressure grading,and each layer of subjects was completely randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group used a simple western medicine standardized antihypertensive treatment program,and the treatment group added a traditional Chinese medicine Qi Ju Di Huang Fang on the basis of the control group.The entire trial was divided into the introduction period and the randomized treatment period,and the treatment period was 4 weeks.Observe the changes of clinic blood pressure,TCM syndromes and quality of life in the two groups before and after treatment,and perform statistical analysis.Results:1.Antihypertensive effect:In terms of blood pressure,the clinic blood pressure(systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure)after treatment in both groups was significantly lower than before treatment.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in systolic and diastolic blood pressure between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05).In terms of antihypertensive effect,the total effective rate of antihypertensive treatment was 86.67% in the treatment group and 83.33% in the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).2.TCM syndrome curative effect:In terms of TCM syndrome scores,the two groups were significantly lower after treatment than before treatment.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment,the scores of the two groups were compared and the treatment group was lower than the control group.The difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05).For the efficacy of TCM syndromes,the total effective rate was 90.00% in the treatment group and 73.33% in the control group,with a significant difference(P<0.05).3.Quality of life:Both groups had improvement in physical symptoms,somatization symptoms,sleep status,anger or vitality,anxiety,depression,and total scores after treatment.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the treatment group There was a statistically significant difference in improvement of physical symptoms,somatization symptoms,sexual function,sleep status,anger or vitality,anxiety,depression,hostility,and total scores(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in forced status,interpersonal relationship,and working status(P>0.05).Conclusion: For patients with primary hypertension in liver-kidney yin deficiency syndrome,Qi Ju Di Huang Fang combined with western medicine standardized antihypertensive treatment program can significantly improve the patient's TCM syndromes,improve their quality of life,and clinical application is safe and reliable.
