Clinical Study Of Zhibai Dihuang Pill Combined With Alendronate Sodium Tablets In The Treatment Of Primary Osteoporosis (syndrome Of Liver And Kidney Yin Deficiency)

Objective:To observe the therapeutic efficacy and safety of taking alendronate sodium tablets alone and taking Zhibai Dihuang Pills combined with alendronate sodium tablets in the treatment of primary osteoporosis(liver and kidney yin deficiency syndrome),to further develop the advantages and features of TCM through"multi-component,multi-approach and multi-objective"treatment of the disease,and to provide systematic and scientific theoretical instruction for clinical practice and popularization.Methods:A total of 60 patients with primary osteoporosis who were diagnosed as liver-kidney yin deficiency syndrome were enrolled in this clinical observation,they were all originate from the orthopedic outpatient clinicof Hunan Provincial Hospital of TCM from December 2019 to December 2020.The cases were subdivided into control group and treatment group,30 cases in each group,the cases in the treatment group were taking Zhibai Dihuang Pills and alendronate sodium tablet,while the control group was only taking the latter.Both groups were treated with calcium tablets as the initial therapy,3 months as a course of therapy duration.To evaluated and compared the visual analogue scales score(VAS score),bone mineral density index,bone metabolic markers(Ca,P,ALP),TCM syndrome score,clinical effect and reliability index between the two arms before and after treatment.Results:After one course of continuous treatment,the VAS score was markedly decreased in the two arms(P<0.05),the effect of the therapy group was more remarkable than the control group in alleviating the ache of patients,and the discrepancy had a statistical significance(P<0.05).The bone metabolism and bone mineral density showed no difference after treatment(P>0.05).The TCM syndrome scores was markedly droped in the two arms after treatment,(P<0.05),the therapy group was more remarkable than the control group in increaseing the clinical curative effect of patients,and the discrepancy had a statistical significance(P<0.05).Comparative analysis of clinical effective rate of two groups,with 93.33%in the therapy group and 83.33%in the control group,the effect of the therapy group was more remarkable than the control group in improving the clinical curative effect of patients,and the discrepancy had a statistical significance(P<0.05).The security indices of the two two arms were within normal limits,and show no grievous adverse incident occurred.Conclusion:Zhibai Dihuang Pills combined with Alendronate Sodium Tablets is better than using Alendronate Sodium Tablets alone in improving the clinical symptoms of patients with primary osteoporosis(liver and kidney yin deficiency syndrome),relieving pain and improving clinical efficacy.But in the short term,it is not significant for patients with lumbar bone density and bone metabolism indicators(Ca,P and ALP)Impact.No adverse events occurred in this clinical study,which is worthy of further application and promotion.
