Research On The Quality Of Humanistic Care Of Outpatients Nurses In Tertiary General Hospital And Its Related Factors

Objactive:To investigatethe status quo of humanistic care quality of out-patient nurses in tertiary general hospital,discusses the influencing factors of humanistic care quality of out-patient nurses,and provides theoretical basis for improving humanistic care quality of nursing staff.Methods:This study is a cross-sectional study.Using convenient sampling,from June to September 2017,the out-patient nurses from tertiary general hospital in jinan,Shandong province were selected as the study objects.The survey tools including general information questionnaire,Nursing Caring Characters Assessment Tool(NCCAT),Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale.(WLEIS-C),Nursing Burnout Scale(NCIS)and Nurse Career Identity Scale(NBS).The date areanalysisd by SPSS19.0.The statistical methods include descriptive statistical analysis,t-tcst,ANOVA,Pearson correlation analysis,regression analysis.Results:1.A total of 238 questionnaires were distributed in this study,and 214 valid questionnaires were collected,and the effective questionnaire was 89.9%.Among the 214 subjects,209 were females,5 were males,and the age range was 20～51 years,the average age was(33.71 ±4.06),the working years were 1～28 years,and the average(7.86±3.71)years.2.Outpatient service nurse humanities quality are divided into(113.80± 17.65),Average scoring rate is 78.48%,in the medium level,each dimension scores are:concept of humanistic care for(24.91 ± 4.70),humanistic care ability score was(27.52 ± 5.65),humanities knowledge score was(29.10 ± 5.07),humanistic care awareness score of(32.27± 5.27)points,compared with domestic norm,among them there was no difference in the humanities knowledge,humanistic care awareness entry is higher than the norm,other items are lower than the norm.3.The outpatient nurses’ total emotional intelligence was divided into(59.95 ±11.42),with a score of 74.9%,which was in the medium level;The general status of professional identity of outpatient nurses was divided into(106.47 ±22.46),with a score rate of 72.4%,which was in the medium level;The total burnout of outpatient nurses was divided into(146.86 ± 23.96),53.7%of no or extremely mild job burnout,32.7%of mild and moderate job burnout,and 13.6%of severe job burnout.4.In the single-factor analysis of the humanistic care quality of the out-patient nurses,it was shown that the care of the leaders(F=3.181,P=0.044)and the care of colleagues(F=5.015,P=0.007)whether they paid attention to creating a nursing atmosphere(F=6.138,P=0.003)had a statistically significant difference in the influence of humanistic care quality.5.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the dimensions and total scores of professional identity of emotional intelligence were positively correlated with the dimensions and total scores of humanistic care quality.The dimensions and total scores of job burnout were significantly negatively correlated with the dimensions and total scores of humanistic care quality(P<0.05 or P<0.01)6.Multiple linear regression analysis shows that the regression model can explain 44.6%of total variation of humanistic care quality(P<0.001).Emotional intelligence plays an important positive role in predicting humanistic care quality,which can explain 33.8%variation of humanistic care quality.In the process of nursing care,we did not pay attention to creating an atmosphere of care,respect,help and care for patients and did not receive humanistic care.Education could negatively predict humanistic quality care quality.Professional identity has positive predictive effect,which can explain the variation of 3.2%of humanistic care quality.Job burnout had a negative predictive effect,which could explain 1.6%variation of humanistic care quality.Conclusion:1.The quality of humanistic care of outpatient nurses is at medium level,and the score of two dimensions of caring concept and caring ability is relatively low.2.The main factors affecting the quality of humanistic care of outpatients were general survey data,emotional intelligence,professional identity,job burnout,etc.3.Emotional intelligence is an important predictor of humanistic care quality of outpatient nurses.Therefore,nursing managers should attach great importance to the emotional intelligence level of nurses and adopt certain intervention measures to promote the improvement of humanistic care quality.
