| Objective : The study is to observe the clinical curative effects and safety of Xiaochaihu Decoction combined with Chuanxiong Chatiao Tear Powder treating subacute thyroiditis(wind-fighting and intrinsic vomiting),and to explore the theoretical basis for treating subacute thyroiditis from Shaoyang and the doctrine of epidemic Febrile diseases,aiming to provide new ideas for Chinese medicine to prevent subacute thyroiditis.Methods : In this study,randomized controlled methods were used to collect 66 patients with subacute thyroiditis which met the inclusion criteria and were randomly divided into the test group(33 cases)and the control group(33 cases).There were cases of shedding and rejection(3 cases in the test group and 3 cases in the control group).Sixty cases actually completed,including 30 in the test group and 30 in the control group.The test group was treated with Xiaochaihu Decoction and Chuanxiong Chatiao Tear Powder,while the control group was treated with Prednisone tablets.Both groups were given health education to guide patients in general treatment such as emotional adjustment and light diet.The course of treatment was 6 weeks.The change of TCM symptoms,signs,the changes of thyroid function(FT3,FT4,TSH)and ESR in the two groups were collected before and after treatment in the two groups of patients.The adverse reactions occurred during the treatment were recorded.All datas were statistically analyzed by SPSS21.0 software.Results:Baseline data such as gender,age,and course of disease of the two groups before treatment were not statistically significant,so it is comparable(P > 0.05)(1)Western medicine disease efficacy comparison: the total effective rate of the test group is 96.7%,and the total effective rate of the control group is 93.3%.The efficacy of the test group was similar to that of the control group,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(2)Comparison of the therapeutic effects of TCM syndromes: The TCM syndrome scores of the two groups decreased obviously after treatment.The total effective rate of the test group is 93.3%;and the total effective rate of the control group is 80%;the total effective rate of the test group is better than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).In the individual symptoms of TCM,there was no difference between the symptoms such as goiter,fever,and thyroid pain.The efficacy of the two groups was comparable.about the symptoms such as palpitation,fatigue,loss of appetite and headache,the test group was superior to the control group.(3)Thyroid function comparison: TSH levels increased after treatment in both groups,and FT3 and FT4 levels decreased significantly.There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).The difference between the experimental group and the control group after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)Erythrocyte sedimentation rate comparison: Erythrocyte sedimentation rate decreased after treatment in both groups,and there was a statistically significant difference compared with before treatment(P<0.05).The test group and the control group were equivalent in reducing the blood sedimentation rate after treatment(5)Safety evaluation: Two patients in the control group developed abdominal distention,nausea,acne,and other adverse reactions.There was no adverse drug reaction in the test group.The blood routine,urine routine,regular bowel movements,liver and kidney function before and after treatment in both groups were within the normal range.No serious adverse reactions and adverse events occurred in both groups during the whole study period.Conclusions: Based on the theory of Shaoyang fever treatment of subacute thyroiditis,Xiaochaihu Decoction and Chuanxiong Chatiao Tear Powder are used to treat subacute thyroiditis and subacute thyroiditis.Hypothyroidism,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,safe and non-toxic side effects,worthy of clinical application. |
