Objective1.To translate the Diabetes Adjustment Assessment Scales(DAAS)into Chinese and evaluate its validity and reliability, providing a measurement tools for researchers and medical staff.2.To know the status quo of diabetes adjustment assessment level of patients living with diabetes in Chiese and explore the factors affecting the diabetes adjustment assessment level, providing a theoretical basis for subsequent intervention.Methods1.According to the Beaton appraisal translation program, develop the final formation of Chinese version of Diabetes Adjustment Assessment Scales.2.We did a convenience sampling in two tertiaty first-class hospital in Tianjin. The content validity and construct validity were used to test its validity,Cronbach?s ? and the reliability of the test-retest were used to test its reliability.3.We did a convenience sampling using questionnaires including general information questionnaire,SF-DAAS(Short Form of Diabetes Adjustment Assessment Scales),DSQL(Diabetes Patients? Quality of Life),MCMQ(Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire)and SSRS(Social Support Rating Scale)to know the status quo of diabetes adjustment assessment level for patients living with diabetes in Chiese and to explore the factors affecting the diabetes adjustment assessment level.Results1.The introduction of Chinese DAAS: After translating DAAS into Chinese and evaluating its' reliability and validity, the Chinese version of DAAS consist of 26 items,6 common factors were extracted, which explained 62.205% of variance of the total scale. Each item had high factor loading quantity(>0.4),I-CVI was 0.8~1.0,S-CVI valued 0.902.The DAAS were having significant correlations, which were observed in test-retest reliability(r=0.921,P < 0.001)and sufficient internal consistency(Cronbach?s ?=0.889).This scale was named as the Short Form of Diabetes Adjustment Assessment Scales(SF-DAAS),which was significantly reduced from the source scale.2.The application of Chinese DAAS: 223 questionnaires were collected.Totally 223 patients including 53.4%(119)of men and aging 21~87(53.28±13.79).Education is mainly centered in high school and below and junior college level. The score of SF-DAAS was 76.07±10.57,with a maximum score of 95,a minimum score of 53.The scoring rate of SF-DAAS in 223 patients(100%)was more than 50%,which was at a moderate level.3.By the single factor analysis, there were statistically significant differences in the scores in terms of education?jobs?Fasting Blood Hemoglobin?2-hour Postprandial Blood Glucose?quality of life,?medical coping modes and social support.By multi-factor analysis, results show that the factors affecting the diabetes adjustment assessment level include quality of life, medical coping modes and social support.Conclusions1.There is a high reliability and validity of the Chiese version of DAAS.With concise and clear items, patients living with diabetes can easily understand and fill in it.And it is helpful for clinical medical staff to evaluate the patients adiustment situation of the diabetes disease to give personalized intervention.SF-DAAS can be further applied in patients with T2 DM patients.2.In this study,223 patients with T2 DM had a standard score of more than 50%,which was above average.3.The main influencing factors of the diabetes adjustment assessment are quality of life, medical coping modes and social support and the partial regression coefficient were 1.455?1.444?1.322 respectively. Therefore,in the future clinical nursing work,we should focus on these factors to improve the level of diabetes adjustment assessment.
