Objective: To translate the Worry subscale of the Hypoglycaemia Fear SurveyParent version into Chinese, and to test its reliability and validity. The Chinese version of the Worry subscale of the Hypoglycaemia Fear Survey-Parent version was used to evaluate the current situation of hypoglycemia fear and its influencing factors of parents of children with type 1 diabetes, and to provide reference for formulating relevant intervention measures and improving the quality of life of parents of children with type 1 diabetes. Methods: Follow the Brislin translation model to localize the scale. The specific steps include: translation, synthesis, back translation, expert correspondence, preexperiment and formal investigation. After repeated revisions, the Chinese version of the Worry subscale of the Hypoglycaemia Fear Survey-Parent version was formed.Multi-center convenience sampling method was used to select parents of children with type 1 diabetes to conduct a questionnaire survey, and the count data were described by frequency and composition ratio;One-way ANOVA,t-test,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple stepwise linear regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of parents’ fear of hypoglycemia in children with type 1 diabetes. Results: The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of the Chinese version of the Chinese version of the Worry subscale of the Hypoglycaemia Fear Survey-Parent version was0.965,the split-half reliability was 0.934,and the test-retest reliability was 0.911,indicating that the scale has good reliability. The I-CVI value of the scale is 0.88-1.00,and the S-CVI value is 0.981,indicating that the scale has good content validity. The results of exploratory factor analysis showed that the Chinese version of the Fear and Anxiety Scale for Parents of Children with Type 1 Diabetes was one dimension, with good consistency. The scores of the Hypoglycemia Fear and Anxiety Scale for parents of 123 children with type 1 diabetes conformed to a normal distribution, the maximum total score of the scale was 65 points, and the minimum value was 13 points, with an average score of 36.23±14.58.Univariate analysis found that children’s age, insulin injection method, parents’ educational level, and whether parents knew how to deal with hypoglycemia were the influencing factors of hypoglycemia fear of parents of children with type 1 diabetes.Multiple linear regression analysis found that insulin injection method, parents’ insomnia and anxiety had statistical significance on hypoglycemia fear of parents of children with type 1 diabetes, and the three factors could explain 22.3% of the total variance(R2=0.242,adjusted R2 =0.223,F=12.669,P<0.01.)Conclusion: Based on the Brislinz model, the Chinese version of the Chinese version of the Worry subscale of the Hypoglycaemia Fear Survey-Parent version was developed to test its reliability and validity. The research shows that the Chinese version of the Chinese version of the Worry subscale of the Hypoglycaemia Fear Survey-Parent version has good reliability and validity, and can be widely used.In a clinical survey,it was found that the level of fear of hypoglycemia in parents of children with type 1 diabetes in my country was at a moderately high level, and the insulin injection method of children, insomnia and anxiety of parents were the influencing factors of fear of hypoglycemia in parents of children with type 1 diabetes.Medical staff should pay attention to the health education about hypoglycemia-related knowledge of parents of children with type 1 diabetes.
