The Clinical Effect Of Arthroscopic Repair Of Rotator Cuff Injury

Objective To explore the the clinical effect of arthroscopic repai rof rotator cuff injury.Methods Since clinically diagnosed as rotator cuff injury during September 2014 to July 2015,there have been 60 cases of patients being treated with belt-line rivet sutures under the arthroscope and there have been 31 cases among male research objects and 29 cases among female research objects.The age is 45 to 81 with the average age of(60.5±5.2).Among,there are 42 cases occurred on the right side and18 cases occurred on the left side.All the patients have the symptoms including pain in shoulders and there are 51 cases with obvious night pain.There are 50 cases positive in Jobe tests,there are 32 cases positive in Neer tests and there are 41 cases positive in Hawkins tests.As displayed in MRI,to be evaluated and classified based on the size of avulsion,there are 12 cases in medium and small-scale avulsion(1-3cm),42 cases in large-scale avulsion(3-5 cm)and 6 cases in huge avulsion(>5 cm).The average avulsion of rotator cuff is(3.30±0.30)cm.According to Bigliani's acromion parting standards: 10 cases in Type I,35 cases in Type II and 15 cases in Type III.Pre-operation and follow-up visit shall be graded according to American Shoulder Elbow Scale,Constant-Murley Scale,and Simple Shoulder Joint Scale(SST)Questionnaire to evaluate functions of shoulder joints.Results The patients' incisions are all healed by first intention without unstable shoulder joints,stiffness of shoulder joints and other complications.The duration of60 patients to pay follow-up visits is 12 to 24 months,namely 14.6 months on average.The final ASES grades,VAS diagnosis and treatment grades and Constant-Murley grades of 60 cases of patients to pay follow-up visits,ante flexion abduction and other indexes has statistic significance in differences compared with pre-operation(average p<0.05).Conclusions Patients suffering from rotator cuff injuries are treated with belt-line rivet sutures under the arthroscope with good after-operation recovery conditions.To treat rotator cuff injuries under the whole arthroscope has changed the damage by traditional open operation types for original anatomical structures and have reduced the formation of scars without the necessity to cut off deltoid.What is more,there are features including relieve patients' pain,being capable to do early function exercise and being capable to recover quickly.For treating rotator cuff avulsion with a wholearthroscope operation,the patients have recovered well,which is valuable for doctors of traditional Chinese medicine in clinical work to generalize continuously and explore new methods.Besides,in the diagnosis and treatment process,we should strictly master operation adaption diseases,continuously improve operation technologies with arthroscopey and strictly manage after-operation functional rehabilitation exercise to reach the expected curative effect.
