Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of "Conditioning Gas Machine Decoction" in treating slow transit constipation(qi deficiency syndrome),give full play to the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: All the cases included in this study were from March 2017 to December2017.They were referred to the spleen and gastroenterology department of the Shanxi Provincial Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the outpatient department of internal medicine. After initial diagnosis, they belonged to slow-transmission constipation of the colon, and patients with qi deficiency were treated by TCM syndrome differentiation.According to the principles and methods of randomization in clinical trials,a total of 72 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to a treatment group(36cases)of pharmacological Qitong Tongyu Decoction and to a western medicine mosapride dispersible tablet at a 1:1 ratio. The control group(36 cases)took 4 weeks as a course of treatment. After the end of the treatment and then 4 weeks after discontinuation, the efficacy evaluation was performed on the two groups of patients. The total score of the TCM syndromes, the evaluation of disease symptoms, and the colonic transmission test results were used as efficacy evaluations. The indicators were evaluated before and after treatment;all data collected from the cases were processed and analyzed using SPSS 20.0software and compared. Results: A total of 65 patients were statistically analyzed.Among them,34 patients in the treatment group were treated with pharmacological Qitongtongtong decoction and 31 patients in the control group were given western medicine mosapride dispersible tablets. The clinical efficacy of the two groups of constipation symptoms was evaluated. The total effective rate was 91.18% in the treatment group and 67.74% in the control group. After chi-square test,P < 0.05,the total effective rate of the treatment group in improving constipation symptoms was significantly better than that of the control group;after treatment, the total scores of the two groups of TCM syndromes were compared, and the t-test,P<0.05.The statistical significance indicates that the treatment group has betterefficacy than the control group in improving various syndromes of TCM syndromes. The two groups had improved P < 0.05 before and after treatment in the five symptoms of"defecation interval","constipation","defecation effort","abdominal pain",and "feeling after fatigue".The significance of the study indicates that both groups can improve the symptoms of slow transit constipation;among them, there is P<0.05 in the "defecation interval" between the two groups, and the difference is statistically significant, suggesting that the Chinese medicine treatment group is effective in improving the time interval of defecation.Better than the control group;in the comparison of the other four symptoms of the efficacy of the two groups, there was P > 0.05,the difference was not statistically significant, suggesting that in the improvement of slow transmission constipation"constipation","defecation effort situation"," There were no significant differences between the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group and the Western medicine control group in terms of the effects of abdominal pain and “fatigue after stool”.The results of the colonic transmission test before and after treatment were compared by t-test,P<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant, indicating that the Chinese medicine treatment group had a more significant improvement in the colonic transit time phase of the patients than the control group. Before and after treatment, changes in stool traits before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, there was P < 0.05.There was no significant difference between the two groups;in the comparison after treatment, the treatment group P<0.05,the control group P>0.05,that is,Chinese medicine treatment group can improve the fecal traits of patients, mosapride control group can not;after treatment in the two groups were compared P<0.05,that is,the Conditioning Gas Machine Decoction improved slowly Transmission of constipation in patients with fecal traits is more effective. At the same time, there were no adverse reactions and toxic and side effects during the treatment of the two groups, indicating that both groups were safe and reliable. Conclusion: 1.Conditioning Gas Machine Decoction is effective in the treatment of slow transmission constipation(Qi Deficiency Syndrome). It is superior to Mosbi citrate in terms of comprehensive curative effect, disease symptoms, related TCM syndromes, and colon transport phase of patients.Dispersible tablets.2.There are no obvious adverse reactions and toxic and side effects in the clinical application of Conditioning Gas Machine Decoction. It can be considered that Conditioning Gas Machine Decoction is a safe and effective Chinese medicine for the treatment of slow transmission constipation(Qi deficiency syndrome)and is worthy of further clinical application.
