ObjectiveTo observed the clinical effect and clinical safety of the lumbar intervertebral disc herniation with deficiency of liver and kidney type treated in Yao Tu particles, and explored the guiding significance of ideas that liver and kidney within same value in diagnosis and treatment for lumbar intervertebral disc herniation.MethodsThere were 90 patients with lumbar disc herniation(liver depression and kidney deficiency type)who want treatment by oral medicine in our hospital during January 2015 to December 2015 were selected, patients were randomly divided into Yao Tu particles group, control group ? and control group ?(n=30).Yao Tu particles group were oral the decoction of Yao Tu particles, one dose decoction oral in morning and evening after meal.Control group ? patients were oral Yao Bi Tong capsule,3/times,three times a day.Control group? were treated with oral diclofenac sodium dual release enteric-coated capsules, once 75mg(1 grain),2 times a day.Three groups of patients were continued oral medication 2 courses and 15 days for a course, all patients conjunction with electric lumbar traction therapy during treatment.Symptoms and functional improvement of three groups were evaluated by pain visual analogue scale(Visual Analogue Scale,VAS)score,Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)before medication and 2 courses, three months after treatment, clinical efficacy evaluated by the 'TCM Syndrome Diagnostic efficacy standards' three months after treatment respectively.Results1.The VAS score of three groups at 2 course aand three months after treatment all lower than before treatment, and were statistically significant within each group(P<0.05),there were no Statistical differences between Yao Tu particles group and control group ?(P>0.05)but control group ?(P<0.05).2.The ODI index of three groups at 2 course aand three months after treatment all lower than before treatment, and were statistically significant within each group(P<0.05).The ODI index of group II three months after treatment was higher than 2 course after treatment(P<0.05).there were no statistical differences in ODI index between Yao Tu particles group and control group?(P>0.05)same as control group ? with ?(P<0.05).3.There were no statistical differences about the effective rate in three groups 2 course after treatment(P>0.05),and the effective rate of Yao Tu particles group close to the control group I,but the effective rate of control group ? was clear below Yao Tu particles group and control group ?.4.There were no general vital signs abnormalities and in connection with the drug adverse reactions found in three groups during the treatment process.Conclusion1.Yao Tu particles have a good clinical efficacy for lumbar disc herniation(liver depression and kidney insufficiency type).2.The effect of Yao Tu particles Similar with the Yao Bi Tong capsule and better than diclofenac sodium dual release enteric-coated capsules for lumbar disc herniation(liver depression and kidney insufficiency type),3.The ideas that liver and kidney within same value have an important guiding significance in diagnosis and treatment for lumbar intervertebral disc herniation,it can take further study and promotion in clinical.
