Comparison Of Long's Manipulation And Chinese Traditional Manipulation For Treatment Of Cervical Dizziness

ObjectiveTo explore the curative effect of Long's manipulation in cervical dizziness;compare the differences in efficacy of Long's manipulation and Chinese traditional manipulation.Methods60 cases of cervical dizziness patients were randomly divided by 1:1 into the test group with 30 cases and control group with 30 cases.Patients received Long's manipulation in test group,and Chinese traditional manipulation in control group.The dizziness intensity score,dizziness frequency,neck pain intensity score and Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI)score were used to assess the conditions in two groups.And the statistical analysis was used to compare the results of the two groups.ResultsThe two groups showed no significant difference before the treatment(P>0.05).Both groups had significant difference in pre-post intervention in dizziness intensity score,dizziness frequency and DHI and neck pain intensity score,and these scores were significantly reduced in the test group.ConclusionBoth Long's manipulation and Chinese traditional manipulation can relief the clinical symptoms of dizziness intensity,dizziness frequency,neck pain and DHI in cervical dizziness patients.Long's manipulation has better curative effect than Chinese traditional manipulation,and more safety.
