Objective:Observation and evaluation clinical efficacy of Traditional Chinese Manipulation combined with Micro-current Therapy instrument treated to Cervical. Spondylosis of Vertebral Artery Type, explore the simple, convenient and efficient treatment. Methods:Collect forty-five cases of patients who suffer the Cervical Spondylosis of Vertebral Artery Type from the period of January 2014 to December 2014 at Tung Xin Traditional Chinese Medication Center in Hong Kong. We observe each of the patients with different degree of faint, pain and overall symptom and using Random Number Table, divide patients into three groups, fifteen cases for each of the group. Traditional Chinese Manipulation (TCM) Group applying routine cervical traction treatment with traditional manipulation,30 minutes per time, twice per week, four week count as one course. Micro-current Therapy (MCT)Group applying Micro-current Therapy instrument by using Cervical Paravertebral Point, Fengchi point(both), Fengfu point(both), Yiming Xue(both), Tianzhu point(both) and Wangu(both), furthermore, focus on the area which is the most uncomfortable. Applying the Micro-current on every acupuncture point; 3 minutes per time, twice per week, four week count as one course. Traditional Chinese Manipulation combined with Micro-current Therapy (TCMnMCT) Group applying all the methods of TCM Group and MCT Group with the same frequent of the treatment time. After the 1st course, observe the degree of dizziness, painfulness, and assessment scale of the overall symptoms by reviewing the patients from each group. Analyze all the data by using Spss 16.0 statistics software.Results:1. Comparing the degree of dizziness before and after of the treatment from TCM Group, MCT Group and TCMnMCT Group. Through Chi-Square test, there is significant differences in total effective rate, (p<0.05), which means the degree of dizziness has significant improvement after the treatment. Especially for the TCMnMCT Group, the result is much better than TCM Group and MCT Group.2. By comparing the degree of painfulness before and after the treatment, the result of TCM Group is p>0.05, that means there is no significant improvement after the treatment, however, MCT Group and TCMnMCT Group has significant improvement, furthermore, TCMnMCT Group is superior to TCM Group and MCT. It is proved that Traditional Chinese Manipulation combined with Micro-current Therapy is the efficiency way to improve the degree of painfulness symptom.3. There are some positive improvements on the overall symptoms for the three groups of patients, but TCMnMCT Group has superior improvement than TCM Group and MCT Group.4. The efficacy rate p<0.05. The significant efficiency and the efficiency of TCM Group & MCT Group are 66.6% and 93.3% respectively. And the result of TCMnMCT Group is higher than TCM Group & MCT Group. The result indicated that the efficacy Traditional Chinese Manipulation combined with Micro-current Therapy instrument treated to Cervical Spondylosis of Vertebral Artery Type is more obvious. Conclusion:Traditional Chinese Manipulation combined with Micro-current Therapy is more efficiency and more relievable to improve the degree of dizziness, painfulness and overall symptoms by comparing with the only using Traditional Chinese Manipulation or Micro-current Therapy.
