| Objective: The purpose of the study is to understand the smoking condition of freshmen in some medical universities,to find the factors that affect their smoking behavior and to provide scientific recommendation for the effective work of college students' tobacco control in the future.At the same time,we will know the knowledge and health behaviors of freshmen's oral hygiene knowledge in medical universities.And to provide a scientific basis for oral education and health services.Part I Medical university freshman smoking condition and the investigation and analysis of the factors which influence the smoking.Materials and methods: 1.Object of study: Freshmen in a medical university with cluster sampling method,investigated 240 students.2.Research content: The questionnaire that was designed according to the needs of survey was answered by investigators in independently ways.Investigation mainly includes the distribution of residence(urban or rural),smoking status,main members of the family(parents)smoking status,the main causesof the college students' smoking and what are the problems such as effective smoking control method.Smoking or not was as the main content in this questionnaire survey.The Questionnaire A is a total of 7 questions for smokers to answer.The Questionnaire B is a total of 9 questions for non-smokers(Including passivesmokers and people who are not exposed to the smoking)to answer.3.Research form: To minimize the interference factors,all questionnaires were granted on site,answered by own,no discussion,answered immediately,recovered on the spot.4.Data collection and processing: After verification,all the questionnaires were been recorded by the double entry system.If one of both found data different,they would check the questionnaires immediately,and modified the error data timely.The soft program SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the data.Chi-square test(x2 test)was used to compare variance of the rates of inter-group,followed by the Independence Apart Test.For all test performed,the significance level ? was 5%,p <0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results: A total of 240 copies,235 effective questionnaires were taken back,percent of pass is 97.92%.Among the respondents 29.79% of boys and 70.21% of girls.Respondents' smoking rates at 2.54%,the boy is 7.14%,the girl is 0.61%.Respondents think that the main factors affect college students' smoking is the influence of family,friends,classmates,the second is just out of curiosity and imitation,again is release the pressure of study or life.Brief summary: The rate of smoking among the fishers in this medical university is lower,and rate of the boy students is higher than that of the girl students.Meanwhile,more than half of the students were influenced by the second-hand smoke.It is high time to take effective measures to control smoking on campus.Part II Investigation and analysis of the oral health knowledge and behavior among the freshman in a medical university.Materials and methods: 1.Object of study: Freshmen in Zhongshan college of dalian medical university with cluster sampling method,investigated 350 students.2.Research content: Questionnaire designed according to the requirement and analysis.Questionnaire answers in independent ways,investigators at the investigation mainly includes student number,gender,age,nationality,native place and economic conditions and other information.Investigation items related to oral health care knowledge,oral health behavior and the tooth hard tissue disease and the prevalence of periodontal disease and intend to three aspects,such as content,aware of knowledge about oral health problems of design according to China's oral health care planning objectives of the(trial)about the requirements for design,including: brushing method,time brushing your teeth,brush your teeth number,etc,31 questions were inclusive.3.Research form: To minimize the interference factors,all questionnaires were granted on site,answered by own,no discussion,answered immediately,recovered on the spot.4.Data collection and processing: After verification,all the questionnaires were been recorded through the double entry system.If one of both found data different,they would check the questionnaires immediately,and modified the error data timely.The soft program SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the data.Chi-square test(x2 test)was used to compare variance of the rates of inter-group,followed by the Independence Apart Test.For all test performed,the significance level ? was 5%,p <0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results: A total of 350 copies,recycling effective questionnaire 349,qualified rate is 99.7%.Among the respondents 19.2% of boys and 80.8% of girls.The survey of oral health knowledge level of the students have different degree,60.8% students had a toothache or other oral diseases,but their consciousness of treatment is poorer,regular oral health inspectors accounted for only 1.7%. Brief summary: Among the freshmen of this medical university,the girls' awareness of oral health maintain is better than that of the boys' in generally.However,The overall incidence of caries and periodontal disease is high.Conclusion: The rate of smoking among the fishers in this medical university is lower,and rate of the boy students is higher than that of the girl students;Among the freshmen of this medical university,the girls' awareness of oral health maintain is better than that of the boys' in generally... |
