Acupuncture and moxibustion,traditional Chinese treatment method,is considered one of the intangible cultural heritage by United Nations Educational,Scientific and Cultural Organization..Laser acupuncture is the result of combination of the modern science with traditional acupuncture.There are several shortcomings in acupuncture and moxibustion such as fainting and sticking which limited its development,the laser acupuncture become a substitute for traditional acupuncture as a new painless and non-invasive treatment ways.However,currently on the market of laser acupuncture instrument using only single irradiation intensity and constantly acupoint,which not combined with traditional Chinese acupuncture,and there are still many limitations,in order to make the development of laser acupuncture instrument with theoretical model.This paper designs and implements a semiconductor laser acupuncture simulation instrument which use different laser physics parameters according to the quantitative analysis result of traditional acupuncture.Channel and collaterals is one of the most important parts of traditional Chinese medicine.It is of great significance to use modern scientific methods to prove its existence and compliance.However,there is no clear explanation for the regularity of channel and collaterals yet.Thermal tomography technology,as a new technology using thermal analysis,the infrared scanning lens can capture the thermal radiation from the metabolism of body cells,after getting the information of temperature distribution inside by the analysis of modern bio heat transfer theory we can calculate the distribution of heat source,and expression the information quantitatively and visually.after the development of laser acupuncture simulation instrument,our research group has carried out the body surface temperature changes after laser acupuncture and traditional acupuncture and a thermal tomography analytical instrument was used to observe and record the body surface temperature to prove the feasibility of laser acupuncture and explore the rules of human channel and collaterals.The work in this dissertation is listed as follows:1.Combine the results of quantitative analysis of the traditional moxibustion techniques and traditional lifting-thrusting draining and supplementation acupuncture method with the different parameters of laser physics and simulation,and then design and realize a dual output semiconductor laser simulation based on micro controller,the output power and the time can both be set,it can simulate a variety of acupuncture and moxibustion method.2.Prove the necessity and feasibility of using laser simulate traditional acupuncture and moxibustion method through clinical observation of the thermal tomography picture between laser acupuncture and traditional acupuncture of the subjects.3.Use thermal tomography to observe the pictures before and after the laser acupuncture on the line with the formation of the theory of the meridian line is basically consistent with the meridian line.Analysis the temperature the two pictures before and after for a certain period of time,after registration subtract the two pictures and get the new picture showing the range of temperature,and have observed a line of high temperature which is essentially in agreement with the theory of the channels and collaterals,it confirm the phenomenon of propagated sensation along channel.
