Objective: Recently, researchers are pay much more attention to intermittent exercise than continuous exercise.A number of studies have claimed the effects of continuous or intermittent exercise on cardiovascular function, but there is no research compared continuous exercise with intermittent exercise. In addition, most of the studies to the intermittent exercise pay no attention to the period of intermittent time. Therefore, this study through different intervention of strength which about continuous and intermittent movement in healthy young men, explored in the same amount of exercise, intensity and time conditions, different effects of continuous exercise and intermittent exercise on arterial stiffness, the study also record the related changes in heart rate variability and blood flow index.Method: This paper is divided into two parts, the experimental dynamic 2h observation the change trend of CAVI of 8 subjects 45% reserve rate for 15 min and 30 min after acute moderate intensity continuous exercise. In experiment two, also called core experiments, and 16 subjects were divided into 4 × 4 groups,Each of the 4 subjects are named for the quiet control(Control)group,30min(CE)group sustained movement,15 min × 20 min intermittent 2(IE20)group,15 min × 60 min intermittent 2(IE60)group,4 of the trials later.Focus on the measurement of three time points, they are the CAVI digital, which is before exercise(BL),immediately after exercise(0min)and 60 min after exercise(60min),and measure the trend of LF/HF and blood flow measurements before and after exercise. Results: the trend of CAVI changes in acute middle intensity exercise which last 15 min and 30 min is the same, and it is completely restored after 1h.the data between the Control group were no significant difference in the time point of BL,0min,60min(6.81 ± 0.13,6.87 ± 0.13,6.86 ± 0.16).the data of group of CE,IE20,IE60 were significantly decreased after exercise(6.77 ± 0.14,6.78 ± 0.11,6.73 ± 0.14)(5.94 ± 0.13,5.93 ± 0.12,5.82 ± 0.14),After 60 min,CE,IE60(6.68 ± 0.10,6.70 ± 0.15)recovered,and the data of IE20 were still significantly different(6.41 ± 0.10)with the data of basic.LF/HF has significantly increased after exercise. Conclusion: The improvements of the effect of acute exercise on the continuous arterial stiffness, independent of movement of time in a certain range, but related to exercise intensity. In a certain amount of exercise, intermittent exercise is better than continuous exercise. The time which improve the effect of arterial stiffness can maintain longer if begin the second exercise during the CAVI is not fully restored.
