Objective: To explore whether the conventional rehabilitation combined with upper limb robot Armeo Spring is better than that of conventional rehabilitation in promoting the upper limb function of patients with hemiplegia after stroke recovery.Method: Recruited 60 patients after stroke from January 2015 to March 2016 in our hospital admitted, patients were randomly assigned to the observation group and the control group(1: 1).Two groups of patients showed no significant difference(p> 0.05)in terms of gender, age, type of disease, duration and so on.The control group were treated with routine rehabilitation 60 min per day,5 days per week for 4 weeks. The observation group was treated with routine rehabilitation 30 min per day and Armeo Spring assisted training 30 min per day,5 days per week for 4 weeks. They were treated for 4 weeks.Mainly used Fugl-Meyer upper limb motor function evaluation(Fugl-Meyer index of upper extremity,FMA-UE),Modified Barthel Index(modified Barthel index,MBI),Brunnstrom assessment form,Modified Ashworth Scale(MAS)to assess upper limb function and activities of daily living score before and after the rehabilitation. The assessment carried out by the person blinded.Result: The FMA-UE,Brunnstrom rating,MBI score and MAS scores of both groups were significantly different(P <0.05)after treatment. The FMA-UE and Brunnstrom rating of the observation group improved significantly more than the control group(P<0.01),There was no significant difference in MBI score and MAS score between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: The conventional rehabilitation combined with upper limb robot Armeo Spring is better than that of conventional rehabilitation in promoting the upper limb function of patients with hemiplegia after stroke recovery..
