Rosa cymosa Tratt is a member of the genus Rosa in the Rosaceae family.It is widely distributed mainly in the south of China.The dried roots was traditionally used as folk medicine for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis,diarrhea,and descensus uteri.The modern pharmacological studies indicatd that the roots of R.cymosa displayed significant biological activities such as antibiosis,anti-inflammatory,and antioxidant.Recent phytochemical studies suggested that the trierpenoid constituents were mainly responsible for the biological activities of this species.However,there have been rare reports on the chemical constituents of R.cymosa.In the thesis,chemical components from R.cymosa are systematically studied,which resulted in the isolation of thirty-one compounds from the roots of R.cymosa by various chromatographic methods.According to chemical and spectroscopic methods packed with 1H-NMR,13C-NMR,2D-NMR and HR-ESI-MS,the structures were identified as?-sitosterol?1?,pomolic acid?2?,fupenzic acid?3?,Cholesterol?4?,ursolic acid?5?,2-acetyl tormentic acid?6?,euscaphic acid?7?,arjunic acid?8?,tormentic acid?9?,3?-E-feruloyl corosolic acid?10?,1?-hydroxyeuscaphic acid?11?,myrianthic acid?12?,cecropiacic acid?13?,ilexoside B?14?,2-oxo-pomolic acid?15?,2?,3?,19?-trihydroxy-olean-12-en-28-O-?-D-glucopyranoside?16?,kaji-ichigoside F1?17?,rosamultin?18?,23-hydroxy-tormentic acid?19?,3?,19?,23?-trihydroxy-2-oxo-olean-12-en-28-O-?-D-glucopyranoside?20?,3?,19?,23?-trihydroxy-2-oxo-12-ursen-28-O-?-D-glucopyranoside?21?,arjunetin?22?,2?,3?,19?,23-tetrahydroxy-urs-12-en-28-O-?-D-glucopyranoside?23?,1?,2?,3?,19?-tetrahydroxyurs-12-en-28-O-?-D-glucopyranoside?24?,catechin?25?,3,4-dihydroxyphenylethyl alcohol 8-O-?-D-glucopyranoside?26?,3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl-1-O-?-apiofuranosyl?1???6??-?-glucopyranoside?27?,4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-phenyl-1-O-?6?-O-galloyl?-?-D-glucopyranoside?28?,ethyl gallate?29?,3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl-?-D-glucopyranoside?30?,nikoenoside?31?.Among them,compunds 20,21 were assigned as new compounds,compunds 10,13,2021,24,2628,3031 were obtained from this genus for the first time,and compunds 45,911,1314,16,2021,24,2631 were obtained from this plant for the first time.
