Object: Through the way of randomized controlled trial,to observe the clinical efficacy of two treatments, acupuncture treatment and acupuncture combining with intelligent functional electrical stimulation cycling treatment,in improving motor dysfunction of lower limbs in acute stroke patients.Through evaluating the difference of curative effect between them after 2-weekand 4-weektreatment respectively,to provide a reasonable and effective selection in clinical treatment, and also to improve the living ability and quality of patients, help them getting back to family and society as well.Method: Divide the 62 patients, corresponding to the inclusion criteria, into treatment group(31 cases)and control group(31 cases)randomly. In the whole course,1 case in treatment group and 1 case in control group were being eliminated,30 cases in each group ultimately. Both groups were treated with conventional therapy of stroke.Based on that, control group accepted acupuncture treatment, while treatment group accepted acupuncture combining with intelligent functional electrical stimulation cycling treatment, once a day,5 times a week continuously, and treatment for 4 weeks in total. After 2-week and 4-week treatment, use FMA-L,BBS,FAC and MBI scale to evaluate the illness changes of patients in two groups. Results: 1.Fugl-Meyer Assessment-Lower Extremity(FMA-L)score: there was no significant difference in the baseline between two groups(P>0.05).After 2-week treatment, the motor function of lower limbs was improved both in two groups(P<0.05),with better effect in treatment group(P<0.05).After 4-week treatment,it was improved significantly in two groups(P<0.05),better in treatment group(P<0.001).Besides,the effect after 4 weeks was better than 2 weeks(P<0.05).2.Berg balance Scale(BBS)score: no significant difference in the baseline between two groups(P>0.05).After 2-week treatment, the balance function was improved both in two groups(P<0.05),but with no significant difference between them(P>0.05).After 4-week treatment,it was improved significantly in two groups(P<0.05),better in treatment group(P<0.001).Besides,the effect after 4 weeks was better than 2 weeks(P<0.05).3.Functional Ambulation Category Scale(FAC)score: no significant difference in the baseline between two groups(P>0.05).After 2-week treatment, the ambulation ability was improved both in two groups(P<0.05),with better effect in treatment group(P<0.05).After 4-week treatment,it was improved significantly in two groups(P<0.05),better in treatment group(P<0.001).Besides,the effect after 4 weeks was better than 2 weeks(P<0.05).4.Modified Barthel Index(MBI)score: no significant difference in the baseline between two groups(P>0.05).After 2-week treatment, the ability of daily living was improved both in two groups(P<0.05),but with no significant difference between them(P>0.05).After 4-week treatment,it was improved significantly in two groups(P<0.05),better in treatment group(P<0.001).Besides,the effect after 4 weeks was better than 2 weeks(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1?Both two treatments have the clinical effect in improving the motor dysfunction of lower limbs in acute stroke patients, including the lower limbs motor function, balance function, ambulation ability and daily living ability. The effect of4-week treatment is better than 2-week.2?The treatment of acupuncture combining with intelligent functional electrical stimulation cycling has better clinical effect than acupuncture treatment.
