Preliminary Study On Distribution Of Tcm Syndromes And Drug Law Of Infantile Diarrhea In Parts Of Chengdu

Objective: This study collected data from patients with children diarrhea disease in parts of Chengdu,to statistical analysis the TCM syndrome types and the medications,intends to find out the distribution characteristics of TCM syndromes and the law of clinical medication,to provide a basis for the standardization of syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment of the disease.Method: This study collected from 300 infantile diarrhea patients in March 2015-February 2017 in Chengdu university of TCM affiliated hospital,Yanghetang TCM Museum,Pixian Hospital of TCM in chengdu area,fill in the "collection of diarrhea cases data sheet",record patients' basic information,diarrhoea,course,accompanying symptoms,tongue veins,degree of dehydration,disease severity,gestational age,feeding way,and determine the type of syndrome according to the clinical manifestations of patients(each case only record the first time to see a doctor type),prescription medication.Then collect the information into WPS Excel2016,set up the database,use statistical software for analysis,to explore pediatric diarrhea of TCM syndrome type distribution and drug laws in Chengdu area.Results: The total cases was 300,according to the statistical results,among which 165 cases was male and 135 cases was female,the male to female ratio was about 1.22: 1.According to the diagnostic criteria of the present study,there were the distribution of TCM syndrome types: Diarrhea due to improper diet in 95 cases,77 cases of damp heat diarrhea,cold diarrhea in 49 cases,43 cases with diarrhea due to spleen deficiency,spleen deficiency diarrhea in 21 cases,15 cases of deficiency diarrhea.Examined gender,feeding mode,gestational age and the distribution of syndrome types by chi square test,and p values were 0.915,0.427,0.539,it has no statistical significance.Examined the age of the children,the onset of the season,the disease severity,the course of disease and the distribution of the syndrome type by chi square test,the P values were 0.034,0.048,0.000,0.002,it has statistically significant.This study ranged 145 kinds of Chinese medicine,15 classes of herbs.The order of the classes from high to low: Tonic medicine,dampness and heat drugs,regulating qi,dampness medicine,medicine,Xiaoshi diaphoretic,astringent drug,phlegm and antiasthmatic,hemostatic,warm in medicine,anthelmintic,blood stasis,rheumatism medicine.The type of drug use in the top 10 drugs:(1)Wind cold diarrhea: poria cocos,licorice root,magnolia bark,dried orange peel,beijing pinellia,agastache rugosa,rhizoma atractylodis,perilla leaf,pericarpium arecae,scutellaria baicalensis.(2)Diarrhea due to improper diet: dried orange peel,charred fructus crataegi,medicinal fermented mass,rhizoma atractylodis,poria cocos,licorice root,agastache rugosa,magnolia bark,coptis chinensis,plantago seed.(3)Damp heat diarrhea: coptis chinensis,scutellaria baicalensis,poria cocos,licorice root,the root of kudzu vine,dried orange peel,radices saussureae,agastache rugosa,rhizoma pinellinae praeparata,magnolia bark.(4)Spleen deficiency diarrhea: rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae stir-fried with bran,agastache rugosa,dried orange peel,poria cocos,yam,amomum villosum lour,medicinal fermented mass,the root of kudzu vine,licorice root,radix pseudostellariae.(5)Spleen kidney yang deficiency diarrhea: rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae stir-fried with bran,yam,poria cocos,prepared radix licorice,baked ginger,cinnamon,the root of kudzu vine,semen nelumbinis,radix pseudostellariae,dark plum.(6)Deficiency of both qi and yin: dark plum,prepared radix licorice,hawthorn,polygonatum odoratum,radices trichosanthis,radix pseudostellariae,radix glehniae,yam,radix ophiopogonis,dendrobium nobile,radices rehmanniae,semen nelumbinis.Conclusion: The basic syndromes distribution of infantile diarrhea in parts of Chengdu is diarrhea due to improper diet,other syndrome types were wind cold diarrhea,spleen deficiency diarrhea,spleen kidney yang deficiency diarrhea,deficiency of both qi and yin.The distribution of syndrome type was closely related to age,onset season,course of disease and disease.The main drugs are tonic medicine,wet medicine,heat clearing drugs,drugs for regulating qi flow and so on.Taste medicinal properties is given priority to with warm,with sweet,bitter,bitter is given priority to,the main reason of drug administration are spleen and stomach.Diarrhea due to wind-cold is given priority to with the cold wet antidiarrheal;Diarrhea due to improper feeding is to disappear of hysteresis,activating spleen to clearing damp wet;Diarrhea due to hot and humid give priority to colon cleansing antipyretic,wet antidiarrhea;Diarrhea due to insufficiency of the spleen give priority to Tonifying spleen yiqi,help relieve diarrhea;Diarrhea due to the spleen kidney Yang deficiency by removing the spleen kidney,solid acerbity antidiarrheal primarily;Diarrhea due to Qi and Yin deficiency give priority to with qi and nourishing Yin.
