The Research On Distribution Regularity Of Tcm Syndromes Of CSG And The Correlations Between Syndromes

Objective Through investigation methods of clinic epidemiology to explore the relationship between different traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndromes of chronic superficial gastritis(CSG) and factors such as gcnder,age,history of smoking and drinking,medical history,occupation HP(Helicobacter Pylori) infection and CSG pathological grading,finally in order to explore the rule of he distribution of TCM syndromes of CSG.So to provide an objective criterion to the treatment of CSG.Method On the basis of literature study,the data of200patients’ syndromes and signs are got through four diagnostic and database is established by applying epidemiologic methods.Descriptive statistics and chi-square test are used for statistic purpose,and the regularity of syndrome is summed up as well as the relationship of syndrome with gender,age,medical history,history of smoking and drinking,Hp infection and Pathological grading.Results The frequency of occurrence of different syndromes are found to be: spleen-stomach deficiency type>liver-stomach disharmony type>spleen-stomach damp-heat type>stomach-yin deficiency type>blood stasis in stomach type.Gender,age,medical history,smoking and drinking history,HP infection and Pathological typing using gastroscopy had significant relationship with syndrome distribution.Spleen-stomach deficiency are mostly found in man,and stomach-yin deficiency had mostly found in womcn.The age of onset of this disease are mainly youth and middle age.Spleen-stomach damp-heat type are mostly found in the youth and middle age,however,Stomach-yin deficiency type are primary found in middle-old age.People who had the history of smoking or drinking are mostly spleen-stomach damp-heat.Spleen-stomach damp-heat often occurred when HP was positive,while other four types often occurred when HP was negative.The highest frequency of syndromes in order of light-moderate and moderate-severe degree of pathological grading were as following: spleen-stomach deficiency type and spleen-stomach damp-heat type.Conclusion Gender,age,sick time,history of drinking and smoking,HP and pathological grading have significant relationships with syndromes distribution of CSG wich seemed to fall into different patterns.The research also showed that spleen-stomach deficiency and liver-stomach disharmony is the uppermost types.Therefore,replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen and soothing liver to harmonize stomach are the bases of treatment the disease.On thisbasic,according to different patients’ conditions, clearing heat and eliminating dampness, nourish stomach-yin,promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis.
