Objective:1)This study aimed to assess the reliability and validity of the modified Morisky scale for the moxibustion compliance survey.2)Evaluated the compliance of moxibustion treatment in patients with Morisky scale, and explore the factors that affect patient compliance, and the impact of the factors on compliance.Methods:1)Designed the scale to evaluate the compliance for moxibustion patients based on the scale of Morisky,100 cases of moxibustion treated patients in Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were investigated by random sampling. After the scale was reclaimed, the reliability and validity of the modified Morisky scale were evaluated by calculating the Internal consistency reliability, retest reliability, content validity and construct validity to evaluate the reliability and validity of scale.2)The compliance of 862 patients treated by moxibustion were investigated with modified Morisky scale in the follow-up study. And the factors influencing the compliance and the degree of influence were analyzed by LOGISTIC regression.Results:1.The reliability and validity of the modified Morisky Scale.1)The recovery rate of the initial survey was 98.04%,the shortest time of completion of the scale was about 3 minutes, and the slowest was about 12 minutes. The average completion time was 5.48 ± 1.50 minutes, and the scale was acceptable.2)The retest reliability of the scale was 0.99,and the entries were 0.90,0.91,0.87,0.90,0.88,0.88,0.82,0.92 respectively.Cronbach'a coefficient is 0.816,greater than 0.8,indicating that the internal consistency of the scale was better,Guttman half-reliability coefficient was 0.826,greater than 0.8,indicating that the scale of the cross-entry consistency is better, the score correlation coefficient of each item andscale is greater than 0.5,and the P value is less than 0.01,the content vadility of the scale is better.KMO statistic was at 0.817,suitable for factor analysis,Bartlett spherical test P value was less than 0.01,the scale between the items exist relevance, the first two scales above 1 can be explained by the common factor 57.247% of the total variation, questionnaire can be extracted two common factors.2.Compliance and its influencing factors In this study,a total of 862 valid questionnaires were collected,of which the largest number was hospitalized patients,60.0% of the total number was female patients,20-30 years old patients were slightly more than other age groups, accounting for21.9 %;,69.3% of patients had never smoked cigarettes, college and undergraduate students accounted for 26.9% of the total and 26.0,54.8% of patients had not been exposed to secondhand smoke in the family and the workplace,22.2% of patients with allergies, the medical form of 455 patients were medical insurance,40.5% of patients with less than 1 month duration, most patients taking moxibustion treatment time was not more than 1 month,73.4% of patients received traditional moxibustion treatment,58.9% of patients with each treatment time 0.5-1 hours, most of the patients received treatment in Sichuan Province.3)The score of compliance to moxibustion was 6.33 ± 1.93,and the compliance was specific: the score of 8 points means the highest degree of compliance, accounting for37.12% of the total number of patients.Compliance of majority patients is moderate or high, but still 33.87% of patients score less than 6 points of poor compliance.4)Univariate analysis showed that the type of treatment, age, educational level, exposure of secondhand smoke, allergy, medical treatment, course of illness, use of moxibustion type, moxibustion time each time, treatment area, which may affect the compliance of patients with moxibustion treatment compliance factors;multivariate analysis showed that the type of treatment, exposure to secondhand smoke, age, allergy, treatment area and smoking factors were selected into the regression equation, the most influential factor is age, followed by: smoke, treatment area, allergy, exposure to secondhand smoke, treatment type.Conclusion:1)The modified Morisky scale had good reliability, validity and acceptability, and itcan be used as an evaluation tool for moxibustion compliance.2)Most patients with moderate compliance or good compliance, about one third patients with poor compliance.3)The main factors affect the compliance of patients with moxibustion treatment were age and moxa smoke, suggested that improving moxibustion compliance can be mainly figured out the above two factors.
