Clinical Observation Of Oral Xiao Zhi Mixture In Preventing And Treating Postoperative Complications Of Mixed Hemorrhoids

Objective: This study was designed to observe the clinical efficacy of oral Xiao Zhi Mixture in preventing and treating postoperative complications of mixed hemorrhoids.To find out the mechanism and a more effective approach to reduce the postoperative complications of mixed hemorrhoids.Method: This study randomly divided 72 eligible patients into two groups.Beside of routine treatment after hemorrhoid surgery,the treatment group was asked to oral Xiao Zhi Mixture and the control group was asked to take Diosmin tablets.The Course of treatment is 15 days.The symptoms and signs,such as pain,edema,bleeding,constipation and the use of painkillers in the two groups before,during and after treatment were observed and recorded.This study used SPSS21.0 statistical software to build database and conduct statistical analysis.Results:All 72 patients included in the study completed the treatment.The general information of the two groups is comparable(p>0.05).Anal edema after the operation:There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the 4th day,the 6th day and the 16 th day after treatment(p<0.05).Postoperative Hemorrhage:There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the 1-2 days after treatment(P=0.268>0.05).But there were statistical differences between the two groups in the 3-6 days & the 7-16 day after taking medicine(P<0.05).Postoperative Pain:There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the 1-6 days after treatment(p>0.05).Postoperative Constipation:Postoperative constipation in the treatment group was less than that in the control group and there was a statistically significant between the two groups(p=0.017<0.05).In terms of postoperative effect,the treatment group was superior to the control group on the 15 th day after operation(p=0.030<0.05).Conclusions: Xiao Zhi Mixture is effective in preventing and treating postoperative complications(hemorrhage,edema,constipation)of mixed hemorrhoids and worthy of clinical application.
