With the economic development, people's living standards are continuously improving, and the awareness of their own health is gradually increasing. At the same time, the hospital is also committed to providing patients with comfortable and reliable modern medical services. However,at present, most large general hospitals are relatively complicated in terms of space layout and medical information representation. It's difficult to operate the medical aid facilities and applications which are also inefficient, and it still takes a lot of time and effort to seek medical treatment. In particular,as the ageing trend of the population in China is increasing, the cognitive abilities of the elderly are not compatible with the huge and complex medical environment and the medical procedure.Based on the above background, the topic proposes research goals of the medical aided system based on the cognitive abilities of the elderly. It is divided into the following three levels:(1)The barriers to the cognitive process of the elderly in seeking medical care and medical assistance demand research;(2)Basic research on the design of medical assistance systems based on the cognitive capabilities of the elderly;(3)The construction and design of innovative medical assistant systems and usability testing. This article analyzes the status quo of medical treatment activities and summarizes the current usage scenarios of medical facilities and applications. At the same time,it discusses and analyzes the cognitive theory, summarizes the characteristics of the elderly's cognitive ability, and analyzes the cognitive barriers existing in the process of seeking medical treatment.Through the research on the auxiliary needs of the elderly for medical treatment,we have summarized and refined the need for medical assistance for the elderly user. The application performance requirements obtained were transformed, and basic design studies based on the visual elements of the elderly's visual perception and the application sounds based on the elderly's auditory perception were performed, including three parts: display text size, interface color combinations, and application sounds, which can be used as a design reference for the medical aided system.Combined with user research, the definition and design principles of the medical aided system can be obtained.According to the functional requirements of the product, carry out the information architecture design and prototype design of the medical assistance system. At the same time, perform the final visual interface design combined with the basic research results, and perform the usability test and analysis. In the end,the doctor-assisted system design practice program adapted to the cognitive abilities of the elderly can provide a better medical experience for the elderly and also promote the thinking and development of the modern medical service industry in the field of services for the elderly.
