The Effect Of New Rural Cooperative Medical System On The Medical Behavior And Health Of The Elderly

New rural cooperative medical system(Abbreviated as NCMS)is an important measure to solve the rural elderly basic medical security,to some extent reduce the difference between urban and rural medical security level,which is also a major government policy to solve the "Three Rural Issues" problem.An investigation on the influencing factors of health and longevity of the elderly in China(CLHLS)Combining with the data of SPSS24.0 and Stata14.0,this paper studies the influence of NCMS on the decision of seeking medical treatment and medical expenditure,and the influence of NCMS on the living condition and health level of participating individuals.In order to understand the effect of the current implementation of NCMS and provide a reference for the further improvement and development of NCMS.The results of this paper show that NCMS can significantly increase the probability of rural elderly medical expenditure and reduce the rural elderly medical expenditure.In addition,the impact of NCMS on different groups with different annual income is different,and the effect of NCMS on reducing the medical burden of the elderly in special hardship families is significant.At the same time,the effect of NCMS on the health level of the elderly was studied.It was found that NCMS significantly improved the living conditions of the elderly,reduced the risk of death of the elderly,and affected the ADL score of the elderly.It has a significant effect on improving the ability of daily life of the elderly,but it has no significant effect on the health self-assessment of the elderly.
