Objective: To analyze the common risk factors of carotid artery stenosis by case-control study and explore the correlation between H-type hypertension and carotid artery stenosis.Mehtods: After the strict exclusion, patients with head and neck CTA and which from January 2015 to December 2015 hospitalized in neurology udepartment of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, were selected and collected in a total of 368 patients enrolled in the study,as a research object.According to the CTA results, patients with carotid artery stenosis were selected as the case group and those without carotid artery stenosis as the control group. The baseline data of all subjects were collected, and the results of clinical observations were recorded for each patient. After collecting the medical records of the study subjects, the clinical data of patients in the case group and the control group were analyzed retrospectively to investigate the correlation between H-type hypertension and carotid artery stenosis.Results:(1)Univariate Logistic regression a nalysis showed that there was a significant difference in hypertension,LDL,diabetes and Hcy between the stenosis group and the non-stenosis group. There was no significant difference in other risk factors between stenosis group and non-stenosis group,So that in addition to high blood pressure,LDL,diabetes,Hcy outside the rest of the risk factors were comparable between the two groups.(2)Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that hypertension, homocysteine,LDL and diabetes were both independent risk factors for carotid artery stenosis.(3)The prevalence of H-type hypertention in the stenosis group was higher than that in the stenosis group, the difference was statistically significant, and the incidence of H-type hypertention increased with the stenosis in the stenosis group.(4)In the stenosis group neither hyperhomocysteinemia norhypertension, hyperhomocysteinemia with hyperhomo-cysteinemia Symptoms associated with hypertension were quite different(P<0.05),and further studies showed a positive additive interaction between hypertension and hyperhomocysteinemia(S=2.74>1).Conclusions:(1)Logistic regression analysis showed that hypertension, homocysteine,LDL and diabetes were independent risk f-actors for vascular stenosis.(2)The prevalence of Hypertension in the stenosis grou p was higher than that in the stenosis group. The incidence of Hypertension incr-e ased with the stenosis in the stenosis group.(3)Hypertension and hyperhomocysteine have synergistic effects.
