Objective: From the level of gastric mucosa COX-2 and inflammatory factor(IL-1β、IL-6、IL-8)expression products to further explore the differences of moxibustion and acupuncture. Methods:The CAG rat models were replicated by MNNG solution combined with multi-factor method, moxibustion and acupuncture are selected as intervention, the CAG rats were divided into the normal group, model group, moxibustion group, acupuncture group, observing their general behavioral changes, and the histopathological changes of gastric tissue by HE staining; The content of COX-2,IL-6 and IL-8 were detected by Western blotting. The contents of IL-1βwas detected by RT-PCR.Results: 1.Compared with the normal group, the rats in the model group were apathetic, unresponsive, lack of luster, obvious histopathological changes were observed under light microscope;Compared with the moxibustion group, acupuncture group, the mental state of rats gradually turned better, the activity was significantly more active than before, the gloss increased compared with the previous light microscope.2.Compared with the normal group,The levels of COX-2 in gastric tissues of rats in mode group significantly increased(P<0.01);Compared with the model group, the content of COX-2 in moxibustion group, acupuncture group significantly decreased(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in the content of COX-2 between moxibustion group and acupuncture group(P>0.05).3.Compared with normal group, the content of IL-1β、IL-6 and IL-8 in model group significantly increased(P<0.01).Compared with model group, the content of IL-1β、IL-6 and IL-8 in moxibustion group, acupuncture group significantly decreased(P<0.01).Compared with moxibustion group, the content of IL-1βand IL-6 in acupuncture group were significantly decreased(P<0.05 or P<0.01),while the content of IL-8 content was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion: 1.Both moxibustion and acupuncture can play a protective role in the gastric mucosa of CAG.2.Moxibustion and acupuncture can reduce the expression of COX-2,IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-8 to control of gastric mucosal inflammatory injury and treat or delay the occurrence and development of CAG,both of them have anti-inflammatory effects, and effect of acupuncture may be better than moxibustion. However, the differences between them on other inflammatory factors need to be further elaborated.
