| Object: To observe and compare the effects of moxibustion and acupuncture on gastric mucosal apoptosis index and protein expression of COX-2,NF-κB,Bcl-2 in CAG rats.Methods:The CAG rat models were replicated by MNNG+ethanol gavage+irregula-rity of food,moxibustion and acupuncture are selected as intervention,after successful modeling,the experimental rats were randomly divided into normal group,model group,moxibustion group,acupuncture group,observing their general behavioral changes and the histopathological changes of gastric tissue under light microscop;The apoptotic index of gastric mucosal cells,COX-2,NF-κB and Bcl-2 were detected by TUNEL,Western blot and RT-PCR respectively.Results:1.Compared with the normal group,the rats in the model group were apathetic,unresponsive,lack of luster,obvious histopathological changes were observed and apoptotic index increased obviously(P<0.01);Compared with the model group,the mental state of rats in moxibustion group and acupuncture group gradually turned better and the activity more active than before,the gloss increased and the pathol-ogical lesions significantly reduced under light microscop,gastric mucosal cells Apoptosis index decreased obviously(P<0.01);Apoptosis index no significant difference in moxibustion group and acupuncture group(P>0.05).2.Compared with the normal group,the content of COX-2 increased obviously in the model group(P<0.01);Compared with the model group,the content of COX-2 decreased obviously in moxibustion group and acupuncture group(P<0.01),but the content of COX-2 no significantdifference in moxibustion group and acupuncture group(P>0.05).3.Compared with normal group,the content of NF-κB and Bcl-2 increased obviously in model group(P<0.01).Compared with model group,the content of NF-κB and Bcl-2 decreased obviously in moxibustion group,acupuncture group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Compared with moxibustion group,the content of Bcl-2 was lower in acupuncture group(P<0.01),while the content of NF-κB content was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Both moxibustion and acupuncture can play a protective role in the gastric mucosa of CAG.2.Both moxibustion and acupuncture can improve gastric mucosal cell apoptosis and reduce the expression of related proteins about COX-2 、NF-κB、 Bcl-2 to achieve the purpose of preventing and treating CAG. |
