| Objective: To explore the possible mechanism of psoriasis pills in treating psoriasis.Methods: BALB/c mice were randomly divided into normal group,model group,tripterygium wilfordii group,psoriasis pills high,medium dose group and low dose one.In addition to mice back skin of the normal group were coated with Vaseline cream once a day,the rest of the mice were coated with imiquimod cream daily,continuously for 8 days.During the period of making models,all mice were operated by intragastric administration at the same time: the normal group and the model group were treated with normal saline once a day,0.4ml/times;the tripterygium wilfordii group was treated with tripterygium wilfordii polygene solution,0.4ml/times;psoriasis pills high,medium and low dose groups were daily treated with different concentrations of psoriasis pills solution,0.4ml/times.The corrected PASI score of the dorsal skin of each group was observed after 24 hours of the daily administration.Blood and skin tissue were collected after 24 hours of the last administration,and the results were finally obtained by light microscopy.The changes of IL-6 and IL-21 in the serum of mice were observed by SPSS17.0.Results: Except the corrected PASI score trend of the normal group was always 0,the scores of the other groups were on the rise.The pathological changes of the psoriasis-like pathogens were in the model group.But the skin of the normal group was unchanged.The mice skin in the other groups showed different degrees of hyperkeratosis and parakeratosis.In reducing the levels of IL-6 and IL-21,the high and the medium dose group of psoriasis pills were superior to the psoriasis pills low dose group,so was the tripterygium wilfordii group.There is no obvious difference among those three groups above.Conclusion: It is one of the possible mechanisms of psoriasis pills to control the psoriasis by controlling the inhibition of IL-6 and IL-21 in serum. |
