The Clinical Study Of The Application Of Taiziyunpi Tang In The Treatment Of Diarrhea Due To Spleen Deficiency In Children

Objective: To observe the effect of the application of Taiziyunpi tang in the treatment of diarrhea due to spleen deficiency in children.Methods: 60 cases of children that are qualified and aged between 3 and 11 years old were randomly divided into 2 groups: the treatment group with 30 cases and the control group with another 30.The former was treated with the Taiziyunpi tang and the other group was given the general therapeutic doings of modern medicine.The treatment of the later included oral rehydration salts to prevent or correct dehydration,the antibiotic treatment and the application of smecta.The course of treatment lasts 5days and both group take 1 course of medicine.Then to record changes of the symptoms of the two groups caused by the 2 different treatments.Analyzing the data collected during the course with the help of SPSS17.0 was the last step for me to fulfill the research.Results: For the treatment group,about 40% were cured and the total effective rate is86.66%;for the control group,nearly 33.33% of children were back in good health and the total effective rate is 73.33%.Obviously,the effect of the former group is better than the later one.The science of the statistics suggested the difference is significant(P<0.05).Specifically speaking,there were significant differences in the symptoms like the defecation of the stool,the abdominal pain,the loss of appetite,the fatigue of physical or emotional statement and the symptoms of the tongue.However,the changes in the conventional test of stool and the white blood cells showed no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusions: The clinical effect of Taiziyunpi tang dealing with the diarrhea due to the spleen deficiency is significant.No adverse reactions were observed during this clinical research.
