Objective: To explore a safer, better, and popularized treatment plan for knee osteoarthritis by comparing the three therapeutic methods of extracorporeal shock wave therapy, manual therapy and extracorporeal shock wave combined with manipulation therapy for knee osteoarthritis. Methods: 60 patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into three groups, including extracorporeal shock wave therapy group, manipulative group and extracorporeal shock wave combination therapy group, with 20 people in each group. In the extracorporeal shock wave treatment group, the pain points of the knee joint and the external shock wave were treated around the patella,1 times a week and 4 times a course.Manipulation group was treated with manipulation,3 times / week, and 4 Monday courses. The extracorporeal shock wave combined with manipulative treatment group is the first time every week to finish the technique, and then the extracorporeal shock wave therapy is performed. Before treatment,4 weeks after treatment, and 2 weeks after treatment,VAS visual analogue scale was used to evaluate pain score and WOMAC score scale to evaluate the efficacy of three therapeutic methods.Collect data, make statistical analysis, and draw conclusions. Results: the three groups after treatment VAS score and WOMAC score were better than before treatment(P < 0.05),between the three groups of technique combined with extracorporeal shock wave treatment group VAS score and WOMAC score was significantly lower than the two in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and extracorporeal shock wave combined with manipulation therapy group the total efficiency reaches 95%,were better than the control group. Conclusion(s): extracorporeal shock wave combined with manipulation therapy is better than a simple therapy.
