A Clinical Study Of Extracorporeal Shock Wave With Traditional Chinese Medicine Salt Apply In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of extracorporeal shock wave combined with traditional Chinese medicine salt apply in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Methods: 90 patients with knee osteoarthritis from the outpatient department of Guangxi Orthopaedic Hospitall were included in the study,who were divided into observation group,control group A and control group B,30 of which were respectively treated with extracorporeal shock wave combined with traditional Chinese medicine salt apply,extracorporeal shock wave combined with salt apply,and traditional Chinese medicine salt apply.The duration of extracorporeal shock wave treatment was 1 time a week,and 4times were a course of treatment,a total of 1 course of treatment.Traditional Chinese medicine salt apply treatment for 6 days a week,2 times a day,consecutive 4 weeks for a course of treatment.By comparing VAS score,WOMAC osteoarthritis score scale and efficacy evaluation before treatment,2 weeks after treatment,4 weeks after treatment and 2 weeks after treatment,analyze the clinical efficacy of different treatment schemes for knee osteoarthritis.Results: A total of 87 cases were included in this study.VAS score and WOMAC osteoarthritis score were compared between the three groups before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition,the score of the observation group was lower than that of the two control groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the pain relief effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the two control groups.After 4weeks of treatment and 2 weeks after the course of treatment,both the observation group and the control group A WOMAC osteoarthritis stiffness score was better than the control group B,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that extracorporeal shock wave therapy can effectively improve knee stiffness.In the treatment of 2 weeks,three groups of WOMAC osteoarthritis activity function score was reduced,the P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,in the treatment of 4 weeks and 2weeks after treatment,observation group and two control activity function score comparison,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,suggesting that the extracorporeal shock wave with salt apply Chinese traditional medicine therapy to improve the function of the knee joint activities curative effect is more apparent.The total effective rate and apparent healing rate were 96.5% and 72.4% in the observation group,90% and 50% in the control group A,89.3% and 42.9% in the control group B.The total effective rate and apparent healing rate in the observation group were both higher than those in the two control groups.Conclusion:Extracorporeal shock wave combined traditional Chinese medicine salt apply is effective in treating a knee osteoarthritis.It can effectively alleviate pain,improve the function of knee joint.It is suitable for patients in stage ?and? of patients with knee osteoarthritis.
