Cytogenetics,Main Characteristics And SSR Analysis Of 5 New Potato Varieties

Inner Mongolia is one of the main potato producing areas in China.With the in-depth implementation of the national potato staple food strategy,the market demand for new varieties of special processing potatoes has increased.In this study,five new potato varieties bred by our research group,Neinongshu No.2,Neinongshu No.3,Neinongshu No.4,Neinongshu No.5,and Neinongshu No.6,were used as materials,and the potato variety 'Longshu 7' was as a control,we emphatically analyzed the cytology,main traits such as yield and quality,and SSR fingerprint of potato new varieties.The main results were as follows:1.The five new potato varieties performed well in comprehensive traits and each had its own characteristics.The new variety Neinongshu No.2 is suitable for chip-processing;Neinongshu No.3 is suitable for granules processing;Neinongshu No.4 is a high starch processing type;and Neinongshu No.5 and No.6 are suitable for fresh-eating.2.The growth periods of five new varieties ranged from 85 to 105 days.The Neinongshu No.2,3 and 5 were mid early-matured varieties.The Neinongshu No.4 and 6 were mid-matured varieties.Each new variety had no cracks and secondary growth,with neatly concentrated tubers and shallow potatobad.There were high average yield per plant and commercial potato rate,about 1.0 kg and 86%,respectively.3.The pollen fertility rates of the five new varieties ranged from 21.86%to 88.39%.The Neinongshu No.5 had the lowest and Neinongshu No.6 had the highest fertility rate.The chromosome pairing configuration of five new varieties Neinongshu No.2,3,4,5 and 6 were observed,which were 2n=4x=48=3.96 ?+12.31 ?+2.26 ? +3.16 ?,2n=4x=48=7.72 ?+7.85 ?+4.78?+2.56?,2n=4x=48=4.48 ?+11.98 ?+2.44?+3.05 ?,2n=4x=48=8.84 ?+6.72 ?+5.64111+2.20?,and 2n=4x=48=1.93 ?+14.02 ?+2.09?+2.94?.4.10 SSR primers were screened and used for PCR amplification,and a total of 111 clear and stable SSR polymorphic bands were obtained,with the polymorphic ratio of 84.09%.The screened special primer STM1016 was used to establish SSR fingerprints,which could distinguish the five new varieties and the control.
