The key to improve the production efficiency of pig farm is to improve the survival rate of piglets,and the main measure to improve the survival rate of piglets is to prevent and control piglet diarrhea.The main experimental methods and results are as follows:(1)we used the method of inspection on the diarrhea piglets from the farm,combined with the four diagnostic methods,we focused on finding out its change rule from the ear,nose,and eye.The functional reflex areas such as eyes,ears and nose of piglets and the schematic diagram of main acupoints for the treatment of diarrhea in piglets were given for the first time,it summarized into cold dampness diarrhea syndrome,damp and hot diarrhea syndrome,diarrhea of food damage syndrome,spleen-hypofunction diarrhea syndrome and kidney deficiency diarrhea syndrome,and different therapeutic principles and methods should be chosen according to the syndromic types.(2)Twenty-eight Kunming mice around the 13 th day of pregnancy were randomly divided into a control group,a diarrhea model group,a compound I group,and a compound II group,each group having 7 female mice.From the 13 th to the 17 th day of pregnancy,the female mice of the control group and diarrhea model group,each were given 0.15 m L normal saline by gavage every day,and the compound I group each were given 0.15 m L Taishan Panshi powder decoction by gavage,while each female mice in the compound II group were not treated temporarily.And then from the 6th to the 10 th day of postpartum,each female mice were given 0.15 ml Taishan Panshi powder decoction by gavage.From the 13 th to the 18 th day of postnatal period,each newborn mice in the model group,the compound I group and the compound II group were given senna leaf decoction 0.15 m L by gavage and the E.coli bacteria suspension 0.15 m L by intraperitoneal injection.Each newborn mice in the control group was given 0.3 m L normal saline respectively,then the newborn mice were placed in the cage with filter paper,and the changes of physical signs,the rate of loose stools,the degree of diarrhea,birth weight on average and gain in weight on average at all stages were observed and recorded.Three newborn mice of 19 th day were randomly selected from each litter of each group and weighed.Blood was collected by enucleation of eyeball,serum was separated by centrifugation,and the small intestine tissues of the newborn mice were taken after being killed by neck debarkation.The tissue sections were made to paraffin section and H.E.staining,and the small intestine of the newborn mice was observed by histopathology.The levels of TP,ALB,GLU,BUN and Ig M,Ig G,GSH-Px,SOD and MDA in the serum of the offspring were detected by ELISA.After grinding the small intestine tissues,the supernatant was centrifuged to detect the levels of s Ig A,IL-1,IL-6,IL-10 and TNF-?.The results showed that the diarrhea model was successfully prepared by using senna leaf decoction and E.coli bacteria suspension.The newborn mice showed obvious fatigue,mental depression,activity reduced,tend to stick together and lie down.The feces varied from paste to water,and there was no death.Compared with the diarrhea model group,the diarrhea index of mice in compound I group and compound II group decreased significantly(P<0.05).The intestinal structure was more complete,and the inflammatory cells infiltration and the bleeding decreased.Compound I group of gain in weight of newborn mice on average,the levels of s Ig A,Ig G,SOD,GSH-Px,TP,GLU,BUN increased significantly(P<0.05);Compound II group of gain in weight of newborn mice on average,the levels of GLU were increased significantly(P<0.05);in compound I group,the levels of MDA,IL-1,IL-6 and TNF-? were reduced significantly(P<0.05).(3)twenty sows were randomly divided into the control group and experimental group with 10 piglets each.The control group was fed with the basic diet of pregnant sows before delivery,and the experimental group was fed with Taishan Panshi powder in the basic diet;each piglet of the experimental group was given Taishan Panshi powder 75 g daily for 5 days.At the 21 th day,blood was collected from the anterior vena cava,and centrifuged to obtain serum,which was used for the blood biochemical examination of piglets.Moreover,the body condition of sows in late pregnancy and lactation was observed and recorded,including changes of body condition,the number of,the number of live farrowing,lactation capacity,the time of oestrus of weaning mother.And the changes of piglets' body condition during the period of lactation,starting litter weight,weaning litter weight,weaning average individual weight,the rate of diarrhea and death were observed and recorded,too.In the experiment,compared with the control group,the average weaning number per litter,weaning litter weight,weaning average individual weight,the average daily gain,21-day-old weaned piglets' survival rate,daily lactation capacity of sows,the levels of TP,GLB,GLU and ALP in piglets increased significantly(P<0.05),and the oestrus interval of sows,diarrhea rate,diarrhea index,and mortality of piglets were reduced significantly(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the litter size,the litter size alive,starting litter weight,and starting average individual weight from each group(P>0.05).It showed that feeding Taishan Panshi powder to the pregnant mice could improve the growth performance of newborn mice,enhance the immune function and antioxidant function,improve the anti-inflammatory injury and reduce the diarrhea rate of the newborn mice;and it could improve the performance of piglets and prevent the occurrence of diarrhea.
