Research On Traditional Chinese Medicine Compound Jianpizhixiesan’s Effect Of Prevention And Cure For Epidemic Diarrhea Of Piglets

Objective:To observe the jianpizhixiesan has effects on prevention and treatment of epidemic diarrhea. Thus the study aims to provide study foundation of researching new drugs which have effective prevention and treatment for piglets diarrhea.Methods:This study respectively take the epidemic diarrhea piglets which are 3 to 5 days old and the epidemic diarrhea nursery pigs which are 28 to 30 days old, as the objects of the study according to Chinese veterinary theory prescription jianpizhixiesan. In the study, I used the combination of jianpizhixiesan and the western medicine montmorillonite to treat,set the control group which used the interferon and montmorillonite for treatment,Compare two groups of curative effect.Results:The result shows that the cure rates and mortality rates of jianpizhixiesan combined with montmorillonite treatment for 3 to 5 days epidemic diarrhea piglets were 15.5%,84.5%. The cure rates and mortality rates of controle group which used interferon combined with montmorillonite were 14.3%,85.7%. The treatment days of two groups are2 to 3 days. To campare two groups, the difference is with no statistics significance (P> 0.05). The cure rates and mortality rates of jianpizhixiesan combined with montmorillonite treatment for 28 to 30 days epidemic diarrhea nursery pigs were 80.8%,19.2%. The cure rates and mortality rates of controle group which used interferon combined with montmorillonite were 54.3%, 55.7%. To campare two groups, the difference is with statistics significance (P< 0.05). The treatment days of two groups are 2 to 3 days. The difference is with no statistics significance (P> 0.05).Conclution:The result proves that jianpizhixiesan which according to Chinese veterinary theory prescription has some effect on the 28 to 30 days old nursery pigs’ epidemic diarrhea. It can improve the cure rate and reduce the mortality rate. But for 3 to 5 days old piglets’ epidemic diarrhea, the effect is not obvious. There is still a relatively high mortality rate and the difference between this way and using interferon is with no statistics significance.
