Piglet diarrhea seriously affects the normal growth and development of piglet,and brings huge economic losses to China’s pig breeding industry.The epidemic characteristics and antibody levels of piglet diarrhea are complicated,and it has high morbidity and mortality,which brings great losses to the pig industry.In order to solve the problem of prevention and control of piglet diarrhea,this paper investigated and analyzed the epidemiological factors of diarrhea in 109343 piglets aged 1 to 24 days in a large-scale pig farm in Jinzhou City,Liaoning Province,from January to December 2020,as well as the levels of common virus antibodies and the pathogen identification of piglet diarrhea.Pulsatilla powder,probiotics and colistin sulfate were selected to prevent and treat different types of piglet diarrhea.The effects of these drugs on fecal traits,body condition score,mental state score and immune level of piglet were observed and the diarrhea rate and effective rate were statistically analyzed.The results showed that diarrhea of piglets was related to season,age,weight,parity and antibody level of common viruses.The highest diarrhea rate was 64.82%in February,and the lowest diarrhea rate was 0.93%in July.The highest diarrhea rate was 71.27%of the infected piglets at 0-7 days of age,and the lowest was 11.11%of the infected piglets at 15-24 days of age.The highest incidence of diarrhea was75.52%in piglets with body weight 0~2 Kg.The incidence of 4~6 Kg piglets was the lowest,accounting for 6.24%of the total infected piglets.The incidence of the first litter was the highest,accounting for81.43%of the total infected piglets,and gradually decreased with the increase of parity,and the fourth litter was the lowest,accounting for 0.89%of the total infected piglets.The antibody levels of Classical Swine Fever,Foot and Mouth Disease were correlated with the occurrence and treatment of diarrhea.The results showed that the proportion of diarrhea lasting for 1 day accounted for 26.29%of the total number of sick piglets,and the proportion of diarrhea lasting for more than 7 days accounted for 6.53%of the total number of sick piglets.The pathogen identification of piglet diarrhea showed that E.coli infection accounted for 80%of the total infection cases,and the serotype O149was the most common,accounting for 30.63%of the incidence of E.coli.The results of Porcine epidemic diarrhea identification showed that it had obvious seasonality and high incidence in autumn and winter.Porcine epidemic diarrhea incidence was the highest in February,accounting for 85%of diarrheal piglets,and no disease was detected from March to September.In the diarrhea prevention experiment,200 healthy piglets with similar body weight at 7 days of age were randomly divided into four groups(50 pigs in each group)for diarrhea prevention experiment.Probiotics(BF-101),pulsatilla pulsatilla powder and colistin sulfate soluble powder were fed respectively,while the control group was fed normally.Piglets fed for 7 days were compared with the control group,and the number of diarrhea,death and mental state of piglets were observed and recorded.The results showed that colistin sulfate soluble powder had the best preventive effect,only 8%of piglets had diarrhea,followed by probiotics(BF-101),and the incidence of diarrhea was 10%.Compared with the control group(32% diarrhea rate),there was significant difference(p<0.05),indicating that colistin sulfate soluble powder and probiotics(BF-101)can effectively prevent diarrhea of piglets.In the piglet diarrhea treatment experiment,80 piglets with diarrhea at 7 days of age were randomly selected and divided into 4 groups,the control group was not treated,and the other three groups were fed probiotics(BF-101),pulsatilla powder and colistin sulfate soluble powder for 7 days and observed.The number of deaths,fecal traits,body condition and mental state of piglets in each group were observed and recorded,and the therapeutic effect was evaluated comprehensively.The results showed that the effective rate of colistin sulfate soluble powder was 90%,and that of probiotics and pulsatilla powder was 80%.Colistin sulfate could be used as the first choice for the treatment of colibacillosis of piglets in this farm.A total of 120 piglets at 7 days of age were randomly selected and divided into 6 groups for treatment comparison experiment,while the control group was not treated.The other groups were fed probiotics(BF-101),Pulsatilla SAN,Houhai point injected with 1 part Huifan,probiotics+Houhai point injected with 1 part Huifan and pulsatilla SAN+Houhai point injected with 1 part Huifan,respectively.According to the number of deaths of piglets with diarrhea,fecal traits,body condition and mental state of piglets,the therapeutic effect was determined.Results:Probiotics(BF-101)+Huifan and pulmonium pulmonium+Huifan were effective in the treatment of PED,among which probiotics(BF-101)+Huifan had the best effect,and the effective rate was 30%(p<0.05).To sum up,piglet diarrhea mostly occurs in winter,and there are many thin piglets at the first fetal age.In production practice,weak pig care and health care should be carried out.At the same time,probiotics(BF-101)can effectively prevent piglet diarrhea,thereby reducing the diarrhea rate of piglet.Colistin sulfate can be selected for the treatment of piglet diarrhea caused by E.coli.Piglets with epidemic diarrhea were fed probiotics(BF-101)and injected with 1 dose of Huifan(?)at Houhai point to reduce the death rate of diarrhea.It provides theoretical guidance and therapeutic reference for the prevention and control of piglet diarrhea,and improves the economic benefit of pig farm. |
