Study On The Curative Effect Of Sarcoptic Acariasis In Shaannan White Goats Of Langao County

Caprine sarcoptic acariasis is a chronic,contagious and parasitic dermatosis caused by Sarcoptes scabiei var.caprae of the family Sarcoptidae,which is one of the most important zoonotic parasites.The disease can lead to goat wasting,skin damage,wool fall off,seriously affect the productive performance of goats,and even cause death,causing the huge economic losses in the goat industry.This experiment took some goat farms in Langao county Shaanxi province as the object,and obtained the following results through investigation and therapeutic tests.In experiment 1,among 10 goat farms,the incidence of sarcoptic acariasis in Minzhu town goat farm was the highest,81.19%,and the lowest in Dadaohe town goat farm,64.92%.The mortality in Minzhu town goat farm was 1.54%,there was no significant difference in incidence among different regions(?~2=5.96,P>0.05),and there was no death in Dadaohe town goat farm.The average morbidity and mortality in 10 goat farms were 73.72%and0.63%,respectively.The disease mainly occurred in winter and spring,the incidences were74.79%and 64.41%,and the mortality rates were 1.3%and 0.96%,respectively.The lesion locations in goats were mainly in the lips,eyes,head,back,ear roots and legs,and the incidence in the lips was higher than that in the eyes,heads and ears.The incidence mainly occurred in lambs within 3 months of age.The incidence in goats decreased with the increase of age.The incidence in goats within 3 months of age was 33.08%higher than that in lambs with 3-6 months of age,and 59.56%higher than that in lambs with 6-9 months of age,69.10%higher than that in lambs above 9 months of age.In experiment 2,the experiment was divided into 4 groups:?oral albendazole ivermectin tablet group,?albendazole ivermectin injection group,?traditional Chinese medicine composition combined with albendazole ivermectin injection group,?amitramine emulsion group.The therapeutic effect of test?was the best,98 goats were cured,the effective rate and cure rate were 93.91%and 85.22%,respectively.The effective rate in test?increased 4.35%((?2=0.12,P>0.05),2.61%(?~2=0.04,P>0.05)and 11.3%(?~2=0.82,P>0.05),respectively,and the cure rate increased 14.79%(?~2=1.61,P>0.05),11.31%(?~2=0.92,P>0.05)and15.65%(?~2=1.82,P>0.05),respectively,compared with test?,?and ?.
