Investigation On The Prevalence Of Clostridium And Orf Of Shanbei White Cashmere Goat In Jiaxian County,Yulin City And Analysis Of Its Incidence Factors

Clostridiosis is an acute disease with a short course,and there are almost no symptoms before the disease.Once the clostridiosis occurs,it is difficult to be treated with drugs,and the fatality rate is relatively high.ORF mainly affects young lambs.The bacterial and fungal infection secondary to the disease will lead to a high mortality rate.ORF is a zoonotic disease,which seriously threatens the health of herdsmen.White cashmere goat breeding is the pillar industry of animal husbandry and the main source of farmers' income in Shanbei Jiaxian county.These two diseases has caused great losses to the development of itsanimal husbandry in Jiaxian county.In recent years,Jixian Animal Husbandry Bureau has attached great importance to the prevention and control of clostridiosis and ORF in this area.In this study,the prevalence of clostridiosis and ORF in 20 villages and towns in Jixian county was investigated in detail.Through the questionnaire survey,we checked the veterinary work log and sorted out,counted and analyzed the monitoring data of clostridiosis and ORF in Jixian county in 2016 and 2017.The results showed that in 2018,the individual incidence rate of clostridiosis of white cashmere goat in Jixian county was 8.24%,and the positive field rate was 41.64%.The ORF incidence and positive field rate were 7.97% and 15.27% respectively.The individual morbidity and positive field rate of the two diseases were different in different towns and villages in Jixian county.Comparing the survey results of the 2018 with 2016 and 2017,it was found that from 2016 to 2018 the individual positive rates of clostridiosis were 8.48%,7.88% and 8.24%,respectively,and the individual positive rates of ORF were 6.77%,8.50% and 7.97%,respectively.The individual incidence of the two diseases was different in different years in the same town.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 847 cashmere goat farmers in Jiaxian county,involving 76235 white cashmere goats.In order to understand the influence of different factors on the incidence of clostridiosis and ORF of the white cashmere goat,chisquare test was used to analyze statistically.The results showed that whether to vaccinate the white cashmere goat,whether to disinfect the goat sheds frequently,whether to isolate the sick sheep and adopt different feeding methods had a significant effect on the incidence rate of clostridium and ORF.This study can provide scientific theoretical support for the comprehensive prevention and treatment of clostridiosis and ORF in Jixian area.
