Study On The Inferred Restoration Of No.1 Rammed Earth Station In The Palace Sites Of Zhao State In Handan

The Palace Sites of Zhao State in Handan is located 4 kilometers southwest of Handan City today.The whole site of kingdom town consists of three small towns: west,east and north.The No.1 rammed earth earth base site is located in the south-central part of the central and western small town at the site of kingdom town.Judging from the current situation,the No.1 rammed earth earth base site is now the largest in the ruins of kingdom town,which is supposed to have been an important palace building of the Zhao State.This study is based on a detailed investigation of the ruins of the Palace Sites of Zhao State in Handan,with archaeological excavations as the main basis,supplemented by ancient book records,while fully researching various ancient books and materials,and drawing on the restoration experience of palaces in other Warring States periods in China,Carry out corresponding research on the possible layout,orientation,shape,function of the original building of the No.1 rammed earth base site,as well as the shape structure,practice,decoration,materials,etc.of the building,so as to conduct a comprehensive and comprehensive study and restoration of the No.1rammed earth base site.Through the analysis,the No.1 rammed earth base site is restored as a high platform type palace building with two parts,the bottom is a four story rammed earth platform and the upper part is the main palace building.This building uses the combination of vertical and horizontal to divide the function and use corridor and courtyard to make the space transition.The whole building adopts civil mixed structure.The architectural decoration is mainly sculpture and lacquer decoration,and the decoration content has become more and more complicated.Through the restoration of No.1 rammed earth base site of the Palace Sites of Zhao State in Handan,it is not only conducive to increase the cultural heritage of Handan as a famous historical and cultural city,improve the city's quality and cultural connotation,but also provide reference for the restoration of other similar architectural sites in the Warring States period.
