| Parhae state is a minority government, whose main body is shumomohe people and combine other monorityies of mohe tribe. It was a remote tributary state of Tang-dynasty China. Parhae construction, as one part of the Asian construction culture group, its culture has some interlinks with that of Tang-dynasty China, Japan, Silla and Kogury. Under such background, this essay chose the third and the fourth excaved parts of the Resting Hall as its research objects; try to carry out the restoration design of it by using the theory and methods of architecture archaeology and the results of archaeological excavations. Big timber construction of each single construction is the main research object. The main focus of the restoration work is to understand the special feature of Parhae palace.The residential architecture of north east china under the natural and geographic conditions is brought in at the beginning of the essay. The regional characteristics have been analyzed , combining the results of relevant archaeological excavation. Then the essay put the Resting Hall, the most advanced Parhae construction, in the extensive Asian construction culture group, analyzing the similarities and the differences of the Parhae Resting Halls and their counterparts in China, Japan and Korea, both from macro perspectives and micro perspectives. It also has ascertained the two-dimensional topology and architectural modality on the basis of the excaved parts of the Resting Hall. The organization of the courtyard and the style of the architecture of the third and the fourth palace are then discussed. Based on the introduction of the ruins, it analyzes the layout of the whole group from the modulus, line of sight with the characters of the palace in Tang Dynasty. Then it discovers the style of the third palace main hall, the fourth palace host halls and the corridor whose planar form like ten, to ascertain those image outline. And it studies the dimension of each building to ascertain their structures for the next chapter.In the end, on the basis of all the above analyzes and the results of archaeological excavations, using the Resting Halls of Tang-dynasty China, Korea and Liao dynasty as reference, to analyze the Parhae Resting Hall with the historic views. The detailed restoration of the third and fourth palace is carried out, analyzing its regional features, drawing relevant designs and making overall comments. |
