It is an important way to improve the learning effect of the course "Automobile Engine Structure and Maintenance" by taking learners as the center,designing teaching activities in line with students’ learning situation and attracting students to actively participate in classroom learning.In traditional teaching methods,theory and practice are mostly separated,and the task of publishing is mostly independent,and the relevance of knowledge is not strong,so it is difficult for students to use theoretical knowledge to guide practical operation.At present,the research school has not introduced the new teaching mode and teaching concept into the mixed teaching mode to effectively carry out teaching,but the classroom teaching design itself is a flexible and complex innovation process.According to the actual situation of secondary vocational school students and the course of Automobile Engine Structure and Maintenance,the combination of BOPPPS mode,working process concept and mixed teaching mode can provide new ideas for the classroom teaching design of secondary vocational schools.In this paper,the teaching design of "Automobile Engine Structure and Maintenance" in secondary vocational schools is taken as the research object,and the research methods of qualitative interview and quantitative investigation are adopted to study the problems existing in the current teaching of this course.The information obtained through statistical analysis and investigation shows that the teaching of this course in research schools is mainly based on lectures and supplemented by some exercises.Teachers usually teach according to previous teaching habits and rarely introduce new teaching methods.At present,there are mainly problems in teaching: students’ autonomous learning ability is poor,and they lack learning guidance before and after class;The teaching content deviates from the real professional situation,and the training of professional consciousness and ability is insufficient;Lack of communication between teachers and students,low level of classroom participation;The teaching method is single,and students’ interest in learning is low;The learning objectives are not clear enough,and the teaching evaluation is not comprehensive enough.Based on the main problems,this paper puts forward a mixed teaching mode of "BOPPS+working process" on the basis of studying relevant theories.In the teaching process,it follows the learner-centered principle,adheres to the ability-based strategy,carries out the integration of theory and practice teaching,selects students with similar numbers,the same majors and roughly the same knowledge base,sets up experimental classes and comparison classes respectively,and implements experimental research based on the online teaching platform of superstar learning.The research results show that the application of "BOPPS+working process" mixed teaching mode in the teaching of "Automobile Engine Structure and Maintenance" in secondary vocational schools has improved students’ academic performance and their ability to analyze and solve practical problems by using theoretical knowledge,which has a significant positive impact on cultivating students’ professional awareness and professional ability,improving students’ autonomous learning ability,learning interest and classroom participation,and has won unanimous recognition from students.
