An Exploration On The Evolution And Improved Design In The Interior Space Of The Traditional Houses Of The Jingpo Nationality

Jingpo Nationality,one of the unique minorities in Yunnan Province,exists mainly in Dehong Autonomous Prefecture.The ancient architectural forms of its traditional dwellings are preserved to this day and they are living fossils for the study on houses with railing framearchitecture.The unique housing culture,living environment,space layout and decoration culture of Jingpo Nationality reflect its cultural characteristics,aesthetic orientations and survival conditions.The traditional houses of Jingpo Nationality are effective carriers for inheritance of culture.Besides,their spatial patterns can also serve as an effective carriers for the study of its national culture.Under the development of current society,the culture of Jingpo Nationality is more and more affected by external information and lifestyles.At the same time,compared with other nations,Jingpo Nationality is more marginalized in whatever aspects and it extremely lacks recorded,protected,and updated literature.Additionally,its inherent consciousness,such as the national consciousness and ethnic identity,and its architecture,culture and other aspects are gradually weakened.They are gradually replaced by the cognition formed in social development.Thus,traditional houses of Jingpo Nationality face increasingly serious contradictions between tradition and modernization.How to extend inheritance genes of traditional cultures of Jingpo Nationality to characteristics of the following residential houses,make them better meet demands of modern users and resolve contradictions between traditional residential houses and modern buildings of Jingpo Nationality is a problem needing our attention.This paper analyzes evolution and development process of traditional houses of Jingpo Nationality so as to explore rich cultures of Jingpo Nationality and to excavate architectural culture of traditional residential houses and their inheritance genes.These cultures will also be flexibly applied in the design of new Jingpo Nationality houses.This is positively significant to the development of residential houses of Jingpo Nationality.At the same time,we hope that people can pay more attention toJingpo Nationality cultures and that they can think about the inheritance of traditonal houses of other nationalities so that their houses can adapt to real demands of their own ethnic groups under the great social development in the new era.This paper will reconsider the protection,improvement and updating of native construction cultures of nationalities from this perspective.This paper takes Pengsheng Team 1 of Mandan Village Committee,Jinghan Town,Longchuan County,Dehong Prefecture as the project implementation point to put forward improvement designs for the improvement of current residential houses of Jingpo Nationality by using modern construction technologies according to the conservation and inheritance theories of traditioanl villages and the historical development situations of Jingpo Nationality.Protection is the keynote while improvement and upgrading are used to extend traditional residential cultures.It is also the exploration of improved designs of traditional residential cultures of Jingpo Nationality under the inheritance.
