Based on the development trend of the construction industry and the higher requirement on construction engineering quality,this article expounds that the improvement of the construction project quality management in D company is not only in accordance with the needs of enterprise benefit,but also meets the demands of social development.This article analyzes the problems of engineering project quality management in D company,introduces the PDCA(plan-do-check-action)cycle quality improvement mode,which is involved in TQM,into the quality management of its engineering project,and proves its necessity and feasibility.The problems of this company is the lack of effective quality control methods in construction process.To solve this problem,during the construction,the PDCA cycle model is established and used in quality management.It's the PDCA that improves the quality in the construction period and achieves better project quality.This article takes the temporary housing construction project of D Company as study object.In the construction period,PDCA cycle model is used in the engineering.During the quality control process of the construction process,it finds that there are quality problems in the foundation branch project,and improves the quality of the problem.At last,the quality of the pile foundation will satisfy the requirements and the results were consolidated through Quality Management Standardization.This case study indicates that PDCA cycle model can not only optimize quality management system but also effectively enhance the quality of engineering in D Company,which improves its market competitiveness.
