RNAV(regional navigation)is a leading navigation technology proposed by ICAO,which is currently being implemented in China.The method is that the aircraft works on any flight path desired by the aircraft through the cooperation of ground navigation devices or using aircraft autonomous navigation devices or ground navigation devices and airborne navigation devices.Its advantages are the establishment of a straight flight route,a highly parallel flight route and a high altitude navigation route.The ultimate goal is to improve the navigation accuracy of aircraft flight.Doppler VHF omnidirectional(DVOR)and range finder(DME)are important civil aviation radio navigation devices.Use of the aircraft The two devices provide angle measurement and ranging functions,and the navigation system combines these two devices,which are widely used in RNAV,and have made important contributions to the safety,effectiveness,and years of flight.This paper first analyzes the working principle of DVOR and DME,and then introduces the theoretical basis and implementation process of RNAV,the last part of the article simulates the implementation of RNAV which based on DVOR / DME and DME / DME,and uses the square root formula to calculate the navigation accuracy of the two methods,so as to verify that the RNAV based on DVOR and DME can be used,and the final results can provide some theoretical support for RNAV implementation in China's civil aviation flight.
