Study On The Architectural Characteristics Of Traditional Houses In The East Of Hebei Province

Jidong area is located in the northeast of China’s vast territory.It lies on Yanshan Mountain in the north and Bohai Sea in the south.It is the key point connecting North China and Northeast China.It has been the place for strategists to fight for since ancient times,and also the place for multi-ethnic integration.Due to the complex landform and multi-cultural aggregation in the east of Hebei Province,traditional residential buildings with unique regional characteristics have been bred.They are an important part of China’s traditional cultural heritage and have high historical,artistic and scientific values.In this paper,taking the traditional residential buildings which are well preserved in the east of Hebei Province as the research object,12 ancient villages and 1 ancient city which are well preserved in the local traditional residential buildings are carefully investigated and surveyed.On this basis,combined with the statistical data of cultural relics census and the relevant historical and contemporary literature,from the macro to the micro,the system is obtained This paper analyzes the characteristics of traditional residential buildings in Eastern Hebei,and summarizes the profound cultural connotation behind the characteristics.The paper is divided into five chapters,the first chapter is to determine the topic,clear research object,purpose and significance,and summarize the research status at home and abroad.The second chapter summarizes the natural geographical environment and human historical environment of the eastern Hebei Province,and discusses the impact of the unique regional background on the traditional houses.The third chapter studies the external environmental characteristics of traditional residential buildings from three aspects: the plane form,the space form and the courtyard form.The fourth chapter studies the single architectural features of the local traditional houses from five aspects: architectural form,facade form,detail decoration,plastic arts and construction technology.In the fifth chapter,on the basis of the previous research,the cultural origin of local folk houses is combed,and the profound cultural connotation behind the characteristics of traditional folk houses is summarized.With the rapid development of industrialization,urbanization and agricultural modernization,the traditional houses in the east of Hebei Province have been seriously damaged,and the situation of their protection and inheritance is increasingly severe.It is hoped that the research of this paper can provide data support and theoretical basis for the related research of traditional houses in Eastern Hebei,and make a little contribution to the local heritage of excellent traditional culture and the continuation of historical context.
