Extracting Further Oirginalities-application Of Traditional Residence Cultural Element In Modern Residence Design

Resident behavior emerged accompany the human civilization, and the expectation of living condition grew as the development of human civilization. As the quick development of City building and continuous growth of living standard, people not only pursue the physical satisfaction of residential and substantial environment, but also expect the poetical and cultural thing, so to produce and lead to the spatial environment which is full of vigour. Based on the characteristics of traditional residential cultural element and influence of modern living space, This thesis analvses the culture characteristics’ influence on residential environment and extracts the cultural element in traditional residence by means of living condition which rotated in different history condition and culture background. The modern living space’s culture characteristics is researched and so to seek the fusion and inheritance.There are two principal lines in the thesis, firstly the longitudinal line is form tracing back to the history source to seeking for the modern theme, secondly the transverse line is from ecological view, cultural view to psychological view. The structural order of the paper research is raising question, analyzing question and resolving question. Comparison and analysis method is mainly used in the paper. Social and cultural element, historical and environmental element are inductively analyzed, and are to seeking the phenomenon and substaintial difference under cultural characteristics. The above method would provide thinking enlightenment of civilization residence and human residence interdependence, continue hidden cultural characteristics’ reasonable composition, and satisfy the overt spatial environmental under modern living condition. This would take cultural mind to achieve variational and everlasting condition in spatial design.Based on the theory of culture research, which lead to the definition of the cultural elements and make overview. The traditional residence characteristic space and the cultural meaning are traced back to the source. This would draw forth the suitability research traditional spatial culture of Modena residential space in next chapter. Residential space’s cultural characteristics combined with modern residential environment, the suitability of traditional residence space is researched from inheritance and innovation of ecological perspective, humanity perspective and psychological perspective. According to above analysis, the translation from traditional residence to modern residential space is summarized. For spatial environmental factors’ recreation is analyzed by means of hard and soft decorative element of spatial elements. The second thing is the inheritance of traditional residence artistic practice and modeling of modern residence space’s artistry. Finally, the translation and application of cultural element from traditional residence culture to modern residence spatial design was analyzed by means of modeling of modern residence spatial prospect.
