| The campus architecture of Wuchang College of Fine Arts is a typical representative of modern art college in China.As a famous fine arts college,its geographical environment is unique and beautiful.This paper mainly studies the Wuchang College of Fine Arts in the certain period from 1923 to 1937,which is located at the site of Shuilu Street in Wuchang.The research on the campus architectural style of Wuchang College of Fine Arts is mainly focused on individual cases,presenting a scattered state.This paper makes a comprehensive,in-depth and systematic study on the campus architectural style of Wuchang College of Fine Arts in order to provide historical clues for future campus architectural researches.Therefore,this paper discusses the historical background,the overall pattern of the campus,the characteristics of the architectural style,the decorative characteristics,the factors influencing the style of the campus architecture of Wuchang College of Fine Arts,and present some new viewpoints.In the aspect of architectural research,it is proposed that the teaching administration complex,the double-floor teaching building and the prime minister memorial hall in Wuchang College of Fine Arts are all in the western eclectic style,combining French classical style elements with Chinese traditional style elements.In architectural thought denotation from Wuchang college of Fine Arts campus environment,the background of the society at that time,the main founder Jiang Lanpu,Tang Yijing and his brother,where Tang Yihe study abroad through analysis of the influence factors of the complexity and diversity in Wuchang college of Fine Arts campus architectural style,it is concluded that the main factors influencing the Wuchang college of Fine Arts campus style as the main founder Tang Yijing and his Tang Yihe western experience and some church buildings,makes the architectural style influenced by a certain conclusion.In this paper,the architectural style of Wuchang college of Fine Arts is deeply discussed to strengthen the understanding of the campus architectural style of Wuchang college of Fine Arts and the development of modern architecture in Wuhan,so as to provide certain theoretical guidance for experts,practitioners and researchers in related fields in the future. |
