| This article takes the period from 1937 to 1946 as an overview of the construction and running of Wuchang College of Fine Arts(the abbreviation is WCFA)in Degan dam,Jiangjin Campus,researches the significance of WCFA’s campus architecture,and the WCFA in the War of Resistance Against Japan.How did the school running and campus architecture interact during this period,in order to achieve the purpose of enriching more people’s attention to the research of WCFA and enriching the research on the history of Hubei Institute of Fine art(the abbreviation is HIFA).WCFA is a very important period in the history of HIFA,especially during the Anti-Japanese War period of WCFA in Degan dam,Jiangjin,which trained a large number of art talents.As one of the best-preserved art schools during the War of Resistance Against Japan,the WCFA at the Jiangjin Campus is a microcosm of the art academies of that period.But during this period,due to historical reasons,not many people knew about it,and the original campus did not exist,so few people studied it.This is for the construction of campus culture,historical research,and modern China modern higher art education.The study of art education is a major loss.Therefore,research on the campus architecture at that time,sorting out the historical evolution of campus construction,can clarify the value and connotation of the WCFA in Jiangjin Campus,fill the gap in the historical research of the campus architecture of Hubei,and continue the historical context of HIFA.Guide the construction of the campus of HIFA.In this paper,through the literature review,field research,analysis and comparison,etc.,the construction and planning of WCFA during the War of Resistance were studied and analyzed.The historical background of the fifty-third ladder of the Degan Dam,Jiangjin of WCFA was combed.Through the development and changes of WCFA in Jiangjin Campus,the general layout of WCFA on the 53 rd staircase was restored,and several major buildings on the campus were analyzed,andthe significance of the architecture was discussed.Finally,combining WCFA’s school-running achievements in Jiangjin during 8years,summing up the connection between WCFA’s school spirit and campus architecture,and finding out the historical value of WCFA’s campus architecture.Provide suggestions and basis for the future campus construction of HIFA,and for how to inherit the historical context of the college in the future construction. |
