Research On The Campus Planning Of Colleges Of Fine Arts

During the 20 years from 1998 to 2018,the "eight major academies" in China completed the planning and design of new campus sites and the construction of campus one after another,completely getting rid of the long-term lack of campus planning and design in the academies of fine arts,and formed the design achievements with the characteristics of the academies of fine arts.Based on the development course and expansion phenomenon of Chinese art colleges in the past 20 years,this paper takes Huajiadi Campus of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Xiangshan Campus of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts as the representatives of the planning and design cases of the campuses of Chinese art colleges.Firstly,the development and changes,subject adjustment and school-running of Chinese art colleges since modern times are discussed.Then,starting with the actual factors affecting the campus planning and design,this paper analyses and summarizes the planning concepts,site treatment,architectural units,campus space and other prominent features of the two American colleges and universities,forming the thinking and suggestions for the campus planning and design of the fine arts colleges and universities.The practical work of campus planning provides reference.
