Research On The Elderly-oriented Design For Senior Activity Center

Age-appropriate design is designed in accordance with the idea of "taking the elderly as the foundation".Age-appropriate architectural design is designed to meet the physical and psychological needs of the elderly based on the behavioral psychology of the elderly,ergonomics and the elderly building facilities specifications.Based on the research on the development process of the global old-age care model and the background of age-appropriate design,this paper determined the age-appropriate design of community old-age care facilities as the research focus.The research objective of this paper is to explore the principles,theories and methods of designing community activity centers for the elderly based on the universal principle of age-appropriate design.It analyzes the relationship between the characteristics of the elderly and their needs,and introduces innovative intelligent facilities for the elderly under the background of "Internet +",so as to create a barrier-free design based building facilities for the elderly in the community.Based on the development of Chinese cities,the design principles and methods of building facilities for day activities for the elderly in urban communities are put forward.Through the methods of literature research,observation,case analysis,statistical analysis,and field research,the author explores the theory and practice of age-appropriate design of activity centers for the elderly.Optimal aging in the architectural design,to the living environment of barrier-free design,penetrates the physiological characteristics of the elderly,the in the mind and the old behavior features based on optimal aging streamline circuits shall be complete,and can protect the rotation of the wheelchair,at the end of the road on elevation difference processing can adopt barrier-free ramp,steps,elevator.And as far as possible to ensure the spatial vision of access.Finally,some Suggestions are put forward for the construction of community public facilities for the aged.To raise social awareness of the elderly.I hope the elderly in the community can enjoy their old age.The systematic theoretical research provides an inspiration for the design practice of "dongcheng district heping li elderly activity center",which is suitable for aging building layout and the division of dynamic and static functional space.Based on the theory of barrier-free and the theory of age-friendly design,the author sorts out the specific ideas and methods of outdoor barrier-free traffic and indoor streamline design in the design practice.In terms of age-appropriate design of important functional space,the author introduced intelligent facilities into the indoor and outdoor space design to realize the vision of "Internet +" of the activity center for the elderly,and finally improved the age-appropriate design of the practical project.
