Research On Barrier-free Design In Home-based Pension Mode

In the face of an accelerating increase in the ageing population,the establishment of an accessible living environment and infrastructure that can allow elderly people to live in peace has become an important issue and research focus in the design field.China should provide a sound and reasonable living environment to meet the living needs of the elderly and create a happy,detached living space to meet the material and spiritual needs of the elderly.Strengthen the construction of barrier-free environments,improve the quality of life,and transform traditional concepts of filial piety.This article examines the daily movement characteristics,lifestyle behaviors,and spatial demand changes of elderly people living in homes for the elderly to help build an ageing residential environment,improve the personal safety of elderly residents,and the ability to withstand inappropriate risks.The quality of life is improved,the elderly are more respected,their ability to take care of themselves is increased,their participation in family activities is increased,and their life is more confident in their old age.First of all,through the investigation and analysis of the living environment safety and spatial quality of life of the elderly in Wuxi City,Jiangsu Province;secondly,through “walking”,“sitting”,“looking”,and “eating” to the elderly with different ages and physical conditions.Analyze the changes in the five simple daily movements of “hold” and “lying”,and analyze the changes in daily life patterns,behaviors,and spatial needs of the elderly according to the status of the living environment under the homebased pension model.For example,“bathing methods(toilet/bathrooms)),“Dining methods(meals/kitchens)”,“Activities(functions,space)” and other behavioral methods and analysis of daily life,and then re-examine the problem of the elderly’s daily life,ponder the causes,and finally from the indoor and outdoor space Summarizes the barrier-free design points of suitable aging living environment,and the development and enlightenment of future intelligent technology to bring the elderly living space to help our country’s aging population to create a friendly and convenient,comfortable,happy and comfortable living space.Make older people’s life in their old age easier and more enjoyable,helping older people recover their physical and mental health faster.
