| The traditional transportation development concept is a single development-oriented development, had not considered the traffic development would make request to resources and influence to environment, the highway traffic is in a dilemma in two aspects, mobile and the environment sustainable development, particularly the high-grade highway construction. This article in view of the Qinghai Province characteristic, put forward the research topic of Qinghai Province high-grade highway sustainable development after appraises, provides the theory and the method instruction for the Qinghai Province high-grade highway sustainable development.This article defines the concept, content, objectives and basic features of sustainable development road traffic, researches traffic patterns and achieve approaches which sustainable development, for the high-grade highway after evaluation target system and research methodologies to lay a theoretical foundation.
